We went with the entire family to this hotel for the second time in 5 years.Booked it as a last minute this time so it was a lot cheaper then the first year.Because you book as a last minute the hotel gives you very bad rooms in the back of the hotel and far to walk to the pool and others.The pool is very nice and big,waterslides.Animation is mostly in Russian as you share this hotel with at least 3500 other Russians its not a plezant holiday at all.The food is very normal nothing special and more like a cantine look to eat in.I would not come back to this hotel as it is not a 5 star but more a 3 star hotel.You will find beter hotels for the same price in Turkey.

Family with 3 small children one of which has special needs. We arrived at 9am and had to wait until 5pm for our room, which was no bigger than a cupboard. The room had no electricity & the furniture was broken. Reception refused to change the room and I ended up camped out at reception until an alternative was found. The manager asked for a bribe before he would change the room. Everything is dirty, people who use the pool are sick as the water is unclean.

Were there as couple, for 8 days. Hotel rooms were clean and completely fulfilling our needs. Was no extra luxury, but everyone knows that 5 stars in TR or Egypt are not equal to european 5stars.
Minibar was available, but only juices and water was refilled within all inclusive service. There were no alcoholic drinks.
Food was local, but you could see they are trying to make it european. Main dishes were changed day by day, rest remained same. But it was so much food there, that everyday we ate something else. I appreciate large choice of fruits in such hot and sunny destination.
Animation was there, but mainly for russian community [like 70% visiting population]. Loud disco music during noon hours could have been a bit disturbing. Mentioned russian community wasn't visibly agressive or annoying as you hear normally about them.
Beach was nice and clean, snack and drinks were available as well there.
Stuff was friendly and ready to help and assist, we dont have bad experience with them. Some of them looked bored, but still were able to help. They spoke mainly russian and german language, english was more broken, but you could figure out the subject.
Local markets are nearby, so shopping was possible there as well. Prices were set for tourists and merchants accepted EUR or USD without issue. Despite higher prices, you could get better deals after some bargaining. There are not many places with fixed prices, but local shops can arrange you drive to such stores.
In surrounding area are places to visit, it's up to you what you will chose [history, adrenalin,sailing...]
Overall, we were satisfied. 8 days there with all inclusive was exactly what we needed.

Hi we staied with my girlfriend in Selge Beach resort and Spa in June 2011. We arrived and from the first day we understand that the level is not so good even the 5 stars that the hotel have. We paid in February for a Standad room and not a Economy and they gave a small room with no balcony still smelling of painting the walls just in front of the housekeepers room. They gave same rooms and others people as i understood at reception. Another things is that they sells this hotel like ultra all inclusive and there is any imported alcohol even this they dont have enough glasses at bars . The music at the pool area is really noisy . Also most of the staff are Georgians and they speak Russian but not French or English , at the bars is the same only turkish .
So think good before to choose this hotel there is much better hotels in this area for same or better prices
