“DO NOT GO!!!”
1 of 5 stars Reviewed 25 September 2010

Generally before we go on Holiday we always look it up and read all the various reports from Trip Advisor, almost treating it as our Holiday bible. Yes i am the first one to say you can not please everybody, everyone has completely different tastes but this place takes 1st place in being to be unable to please anyone!!
What can we say, firstly the Hotel is in Gundogdu, approx 14Km outside SIDE, there is a local bus that cost 2 euro's each, each way which is good but it is just not a 10min walk into town but the last bus is at 12am, do not miss this last bus as it is a very expensive Taxi ride home..
Including us, there were in total 3 English couples there, the rest were all Germans, 80% of them over 70 and the other 19.9% being just under.
Now to be fair when you are on Holiday, you are going to be in a foreign country with obviously foreign people and to be honest we get on with everybody but the other guests within the Hotel were so rude to you (English) and to the Staff that it made the stay quite uncomfortable.
We got quite friendly with various Staff and they could not understand how rude the other 99.9% of the guests were.
It comes to a point when the Staff doesn't even like working there then you have no way in hell's chance being able to enjoy yourself!!
The Hotel itself is very basic, certainly not a 5*, i would say 2* at best but to be fair to the Staff they did keep it as clean as possible.
The beach which is a 5min walk from the Hotel is nice and sandy.
The food was nice for the first day but by the 7th day eating the same thing for Beakfast Lunch and Dinner it becomes very boring.
You had to pay for drinks after 1am, Orange juice was chargeable and so was the ice creams.
The Air con or the Fridge did not work, even after speaking to the Rep (First Choice) and the Reception on several ocasions still nothing was sorted. Even asked on several occasions for an extra pillow as you only get 1 very thin pillow each, by day 7 still no extra pillow..
We did the Lazy Boat Trip which was great, stopping off at several locations, being able to launch yourself off the Top deck (3rd Floor) of the Boat was brilliant!!
We did go into SIDE which i must say is a lovely town on several occasions just to get out the Hotel.
We do love Turkey and will go back but i would not go back to this place ever ever again.

“Good choice”
4 of 5 stars Reviewed 11 September 2010

Club Lindita is located somewhere between Manavgat and Antalya. The beach and the sea are very nice (sands not gravels or stones). The food and service quality are very nice and the service team is very efficient and helpful.

The only shortcoming is the central air conditioning being turned off at certain time intervals.

We enjoyed the a la carte restaurant and the massage services.

i stayed at thıs hotel for 1 week the staff dıd not make me feel welcome and i was constantly hassled to buy cds the manager of entaıntment she was not frıendly and dıd not make conversation with the guests. however most of the entertainment team where polıte and friendly ıncludıng 2pac, orhan and aymen. The food was nice ın th restaurant but again the staff were rude and not friendly towards guests. İ hope you wont make a mistake and go to this hotel if you do be careful as all the staff only think about money.

“Not a 5 star hotel!”
2 of 5 stars Reviewed 5 January 2007

We booked this hotel through GTI Travel in Germany.
This hotel was shown as a 5* Hotel but only the location is good, at the end of the hotel zone. On the other side you have the sand dune beach. I visited the hotel from Dec 24 - 31, 2006 and we booked All Inclusive.
The AI contains not everything, for example you had to pay for towels, pay for cakes in the afternoon except the very simple ones, pay for drinks after midnight etc.
The hotel wasn't maintained well, the "Wellness area" contains an indoor pool which needed urgent refurbishment as well as two saunas (only one was working) and a steam bath and a gym. Everything was quite dirthy and not well in order. Massage service weas OK. Rates reasonable.
Hotel saved on electricity and in the morning you had breakfast in shady restaurant which gave a bad atmosphere. On the hotel floors there was no lights and you had to find your room in the dark!!
Meals was ok as well as variety, sometimes not hot and after Dec 29 when a huge group was coming of Turkish people meals and service becomes better. AI persons had no service and had to get their drinks by themself.

Hotel area and pool (too cold to swim) was ok and nice.
Overall I would rate this hotel a 3 star when everything was working fine.
