“Never ever ever again”
2 of 5 stars Reviewed 8 January 2011

We stayed here for a week mid sept 2010. Arrived late evening took about 40 minutes from Kemer airport. Arrived at around 12am turkish time and were shown to our room within 20 minutes. We had paid extra to ensure a double bed and not twin? surprise suprise when we got into our room it was twin beds. My partner went straight to reception and i joined him 10 minutes later where we stayed trying to sort out the room we had paid for untill 4am. The manager had to come straight from his bed in which he could only get us the room we had paid for 2 days later - not a good start. Rooms: fine, very dated but hey we don't tend to spend alot of time in our room except to sleep, hot water, clean towels every day an a lovely maid. There is no main hotel all the rooms are a little like butlins chalets except older. Food absoloutly disgusting very poor catered only for russians, even tho all inclusive we ate out 5 nights out of 7. entertainment very poor all games and fun spoken in russian & german so couldn't join in if you wanted to could hear the entertainment guy over my i-pod he was very annoying. Very close to markets and usual turkish shops. Bar staff really nice & friendly they made our holiday bearable, bar manager talked football wif my partner and made me cocktails and paper roses very funny guy so thanks to him. Shingle beach major pain but pool was nice and sea very warm and enjoyed swimming in the sea. Would never go back would class as a 3 star at a push paid over £600 each complete waste of money. Would never go back even if free holiday offered. Have to say thanks to the manager as after finally sorting out our room he also arranged a very late checkout free of charge, another warning do not use the spa a scottish couple we met tried it and after his sports massage he was left with purple brusies all over his backand in agony, they also had her bag stolen and staff refused to help or call the police or have them on the complex. Do not go here unless you are russian or german.

The worst holidays ever!
Rooms are very dark, linen been change once per 7 nights, you can hear everything from the other rooms. I agree with the previous reviews about the food, it was all the time the same food and it was cold. I don`t have any good word about staff and service. 2 stars out of 5!
Don`t go there!

“if you are russian and german you will be o.k.”
2 of 5 stars Reviewed 22 October 2010

we had a fantastic laugh with the staff.food was inedible.the rooms were clean but not 5 star as told.most had single beds and not doubles.weather on the whole was hot but when it rains there is nothing to do as its all open air.staff weren't allowed to speak to without getting told off but they do make your holiday as there are so nice.we will be complaining to thomson because we expected a 5 star as told but it turned out to be a 2 star.

“Never Again!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!”
1 of 5 stars Reviewed 10 October 2010

Definately never again!!!! When we arrived at 11 pm they had no room for us and we were taken to their sister hotel. The member of staff told us we would like the hotel he was taking us to but would not like our original hotel when we returned in the morning because it was horrible!!!! and he laughed, how right he was!!! then things just went down hill from there. The weather was brilliant the sea was lovely, the beach was grey gravel not sand but they did give us a free beach towel every day. The room! well very different and old fashioned but almost clean! although the beds and towels were clean. The food was dreadful, very little of it, the same food dished up at night that hadn't been eaten lunch time, stews made out of the uneaten burgers, cooked for the burger bar. the chef at the kebab diner liked to wipe his sweat off with the same hand he held you plate with and he scratched himself inside his trousers with the hand that held the knife he cut your meat with!!!!!. In the dinner hall, if you can call it that. the Russians grabbed everything in sight and barged you out of the way if you looked as though you were going to get something they wanted, once you had got some food there was no cutlery to eat it with and you had to walk around until you found some as the waiters didn't bother. My husband and some other holiday makers got food poisoning that was so back we got off the plane and went straight to the doctors and two weeks later he is still suffering and has lost over a stone in weight. The entertainment was disasterous two hours of banging drums and very bad singing, the same group of people were on stage every night but seemed to have no idea of entertainment every shows were poor and geared towards the Russians. Outside the resort is very poor indeed there are only shops that sell very bad fakes or fur coats, they don't want their own currency only dollars or euro's. Don't go to this resort, it was our first time in Turkey so expected it to be a nice change but after this we will not be returning.

“GO AT YOUR PERIL,YOU HAVE BEEN WARNED”

Dont chance it. Glad we only stayed a week. Mostly Russian and Turks. On our second day my wifes bag was STOLEN from the pool bar after leaving it for 3-4mins, luckily only with 1 credit card and camera, however when we reported it, the security manager refused to call the police saying they were not "ALLOWED" on the resort, but British Consulate said they can't stop them. Eventually "nice" Mr Security Manager (ha) said he would take US to the police the next day at 1pm, then 3pm, then 5pm, at which point he was then "nicely" told where to go. When we asked to announce the theft, they only said a bag was LOST. I also went for a massage and within half hour my back was black and blue and I thought my shoulder was dislocated. Check out pic below. On last day at 3pm we were told we could keep the room till 11pm, as we were getting picked up for the airport at 12-30am. However, when I went for a lie down at 5pm while my wife was at the pool, I got a call to say there was a mistake and we had to vacate immediately. When I refused and spoke to the reception manager, he said if we didn't vacate the room within half hour, we would have trouble leaving the country as he would arrange it. Customer is always right, eh? Food was not great either. When they say 'a la carte' you take what you are given, (no choice) and the fish had a nice taste but was full of bones so we had about 2 bites each and left. But the pool and views are nice. Bar staff and animation team are friendly and work hard but thats about as far as it goes. DONT WASTE YOUR HARD EARNED MONEY AND FIND ANOTHER HOTEL.
