My sister and I were treated like royalty. The sea view room was clean and comfortable. The food was delicious and service was superb. The shopping and restaurants were close. The cafe on the Sea was lovely with plenty of lounge chairs. I would visit again and again !

The Hera Hotel notified our guide that since the hotel was doing a little renovating, we would be promised rooms with a view of the Mediterranean. Surprise, surprise, the whole front of the hotel seemed to be lying in the street...there were crates of [gorgeous] marble tiles everywhere and other signs of major construction. It was hard to find the front door and when we did we had to trudge through ankle deep marble dust, over power cords and other construction detritus and then climb the very rough concrete stairs to the
temporary office in the dining room. Not an auspicious beginning. We were all given rooms with a view: ours was on the top floor, the climb to reach it was as treacherous as our first steps into the hotel. There were two of us and we had a huge room, four beds I think and dormer windows that made standing up dicey...our bathroom was truly a dark and damp afterthought and indeed, while drying my hair I kept bumping my elbows on the ceiling. I could go on, but think I've said enough. Oh, but the view was wonderful...

We had the opportunity to visit Turkey for a friends wedding then spent the weekend in KAS. We stayed at the Hera Hotel with a view of the sea. The rooms were spotless , roomy and bright! What a view! The food and service was excellent. The pool is beautiful. The sea is right across the street with a bar/eating aera. The small town is a short walk where there is plenty of shopping and resturants. It's a beautiful hotel!

Just returned from an 11 night stay at The Hera hotel. Upon arrival I was extremely disappointed with the size of the hotel rooms and requested a room change but the hotel was fully occupied. But I have to say that apart from this the hotel is great, it is clean, the food is above average (we had no complaints) and the staff were all excellent, namely Kadir (James!) who could not make you any more welcome, he makes a fantastic 'James Special' drink!! The hotel has an excellent location, only a few minutes walk into Kas town. They also have their own private bar and sunbed area by the sea which is great for relaxing. We enjoyed our holiday so much that we are returning in October. Would also recommend the Turkish Bath at the hotel !
