My Husband and I spent one night at the Kas Otel as part of an exploration trip driving between Bodrum and Anatalya. The hotel room was simple but very clean and quiet with its own small balcony looking out at the amaing views of the sea. The hotel has its own private beach and is frontline to the coast. The staff were very friendly and the hotel has some private parking although you do have to leave your keys at reception so that cars can be moved for others to get in and out. A traditional Turkish breakfast was included in the room rate. The hotel is only a 5 minute walk to the centre and marina full of bars, restaurants and small shops – very wonderful place to spend your evening. I can’t get passionate about this hotel but it was functional, clean and very reasonable (€40) especially for a place so near the marina. I would certainly use the Kas Otel again.

We thought it would be too expensive for us but tried it anyway and in May, before the height of the season, we had a lovely double room with a balcony over the water for only TL70 including a lovely breakfast on the amazing terrace. Coming from Australia we are rather spoiled for beaches but it was rather lovely to climb down the steps into the Mediterranean and we couldn't fault the rooms or the service - except the internet connection which was difficult to say the least. Hey who needs good internet in a place like this!

I'm really surprised by all the good reviews! When I stayed at Kas Otel it was very very dirty. The room was not cleaned once in the four days we were there. It wasn't even clean when we checked in! Now I'm not fussy but the floors, bathroom, walls, sheets were really dirty and stained. The room was ant infested. We were drawn to the hotel initially by the location right on the sea but when we got in we were disappointed. The breakfast was cheap and poor quality. To be honest the only thing going for this place is the swimming spot in front of the building and the sea view. It wasn't that cheap either at 100 ytl a night considering the standards. Such a pity because it could be beautiful but nobody seems to care.

Although we only had two nights at Kas Otel it was a perfect taster experience. A first floor, very large seaview room with sea lapping beneath the window. Hassan's welcome was delightful - carrying the luggage, offering help with our hire car (parking on site), wifi code and places to see. Turkish breakfast was served on an open rooftop (but undercover) setting with a view to die for. On the quieter side of Kas and 5 minutes walk from a wonderful picturesque town. Lots to do in the area - paragliding and gorge walking...anciety tombs...good roads...a Greek Island offshore with an ample supply of boats going this way and that.
