We chose the Sevgi after reading all the rave revues on TA and we were not disappointed. This was the first time we had actually stayed in Kalkan, having previously chosen nearby Patara on many occasions over the last 10 years or so. The choice of restaurants on offer was the deciding factor this year and greatly enhanced the quality of our stay.
The Sevgi Hotel is a little gem and we would recommend it to anyone. The rooms were kept spotlessly clean with clean towels everyday and crisp bedding on very comfortable (divan!!) beds. Our room had a little balcony and the most glorious view over Kalkan Bay. The staff were always helpful and smiley...nothing too much trouble.
Breakfasts were typically Turkish and the omlettes were delicious!
The pool is very large with plenty of sun loungers and we had it to ourselves on the few days we stayed 'poolside'. Just one very small niggle was that for the last couple of days it was rather murky-looking (the pool, not the weather!) Probably because it was late in the season, but nevertheless it meant we didn't go for a swim on our last day.
However.....this small glitch would not put us off staying at the Sevgi again. We love it and can't wait to return. Thank you Tuba, Mustafa and everyone else for making our stay so enjoyable!
