“Small and perfectly formed.......”

We chose the Sevgi after reading all the rave revues on TA and we were not disappointed. This was the first time we had actually stayed in Kalkan, having previously chosen nearby Patara on many occasions over the last 10 years or so. The choice of restaurants on offer was the deciding factor this year and greatly enhanced the quality of our stay.
The Sevgi Hotel is a little gem and we would recommend it to anyone. The rooms were kept spotlessly clean with clean towels everyday and crisp bedding on very comfortable (divan!!) beds. Our room had a little balcony and the most glorious view over Kalkan Bay. The staff were always helpful and smiley...nothing too much trouble.
Breakfasts were typically Turkish and the omlettes were delicious!
The pool is very large with plenty of sun loungers and we had it to ourselves on the few days we stayed 'poolside'. Just one very small niggle was that for the last couple of days it was rather murky-looking (the pool, not the weather!) Probably because it was late in the season, but nevertheless it meant we didn't go for a swim on our last day.
However.....this small glitch would not put us off staying at the Sevgi again. We love it and can't wait to return. Thank you Tuba, Mustafa and everyone else for making our stay so enjoyable!

“Great Value”
3 of 5 stars Reviewed 12 September 2010

My wife and i just stayed at the Sevgi. We found it to be a great no-frills hotel at a reasonable rate. We stayed there site unseen and were pleased. It was clean and included breakfast and the management was helpful. The only thing that didn't go well was no hot water the morning we checked out. That might be enough to look for alternate hotels...but maybe not. All in all it was well worth it and we would consider staying there again. Kalkan was a great stay.

“Didn't stay at the hotel but did visit it a couple of times, best pool in Kalkan and many thanks to Mustafa .”

Didn't stay at the hotel but did visit it a couple of times. It has one of the best pools in Kalkan and it was empty on the days we went. (that might change after this). Many thanks to Mustafa for being so welcoming and hospitable.
Lovely clean pool and Mustafa acted as our personal "butler" for the day, nothing was too much trouble he laid on a simple but excellent spread for dinner. I should add there was 18 of of us.
I did look at the rooms and they look very clean, and with air con too, a must in Turkey in the summer.
In summary, a very affordable clean hotel with welcoming staff and a great pool. Thanks Guys!

“Small and friendly family hotel”
3 of 5 stars Reviewed 30 August 2010

Hotel situated within easy walking distance of Kalkan - rooms very basic but adequate - nice pool area and breakfast terrace enjoys beautiful views over Kalkan bay - quite breathtaking. Staff friendly. If you are looking for budget accommodation in an excellent resort, it would fit the bill
