Just got back from Turkey having spent a few days at the Sevgi. Much nicer than staying at an impersonal large hotel. Its lovely and clean, did not have to pay extra for air con , and all the staff so helpful . All seemed to be related, a real family run Hotel, Breakfast on the roof terrace had amazing views over Kalkan harbour, and it was only 5 mins walk to the old town.My husband left his jacket there and we returned nearly 2 weeks later and they turned the place upside down to find it for him.Felt more like a Turkish family welcoming you into thier home . Wonderful Friendly people, really enjoyed our stay.

Our family of 3 stayed at the Sevgi for 11 nights. Location is excellent - 5 mins walk to centre of Kalkan. Rooms are basic but very clean. Great large pool round the back. Breakfasts are traditional Turkish - melon/cheese/olives etc - and very tasty. Superb views of the town as well from the breakfast terrace. Best of all - super-friendly staff - especially Niko, who bent over backwards to get us drinks/lunch etc and always had a welcoming smile. Would definitely stay here again.

Sevgi Hotel is a marvellous small and cosy family run hotel, I've stayed at on several occasions, centrally situated a few minutes walk from the main street in Kalkan in a quiet residential area, and about 10 minutes walk from the marina. Behind the hotel is a large pool with lots of sun beds that never gets crowded, and from the roof terrace, where a good Turkish breakfast is served (included in room price), is a fantastic view over the bay. You can order cheap and well-prepared Turkish meals during the day/evening. All rooms have air-condition, bathroom with shower, and a small balcony with a view. The bed is good. Free Internet by the reception and outside on the wine covered front terrace. The family is incredibly sweet, friendly and helpful. A home away from home and incredibly good value for the money! At the marina there's the option of excellent and cheap diving with Dolphin Scuba Team.

Lovely clean hotel with a very welcoming family-run staff. Beautiful pool with poolside bar, loads of loungers and shady areas. Wonderful roof terrace for breakfasts and sun-down dinners. Small balcony for each room with table and chairs for afternoon rest. Lovely shaded terrace at ground floor for cool lunches and evening coffee and Raki, to sit and chat with the owner and family if you will. 2 minutes stroll to the high street where there is everything to hand. All-in-all a great choice which we are very pleased we made albeit without a recommendation to go on - so we are now recommending the hotel to you, the reader. Enjoy !
