“Good location, but don't care much for winter tourists!”

Located in the old town fortress, absolutely loved the narrow paved streets, art and heaps of charm. Great restaurants in the area. Well, about the hotel, the rooms are good, clean and nice & quiet. I think this will be a perfect hotel for summer tourists... We arrived about 5pm, just after dark, cold and wet. As the bus could not access the hotel, due to the small narrow streets, which was fine. However, they did not have hot water :(. The next morning when I arrived at breakfast, the 'hot dishes' were cold, as they did not bother to turn on the burners to keep the food warm. It seems that this hotel is all about cutting cost, especially in winter, they will only turn on the gas when someone actually asks. Breakfast was awful compared to other hotels in Turkey, they are not making any effort. Avoid if you are looking for a good spot in winter -there are heaps of great hotels in the same area.

Very beautiful and confortable. Serves an excellent fish in the restaurant. Nicely placed in the middle of the old town. 5 minutes walk to shopping area, and 5 minutes walk to the sea.

“Would have been nice if I actually got to stay there.”

The Mediterra Art Hotel is lovely and authentic, it's true. I was really looking forward to staying there and had a booking which had been made months in advance. However, on arrival, I found that they had put me in another hotel around the corner and up the street, although I could still have meals at the Mediterra. Apparently they had overbooked or perhaps this other hotel is their overflow hotel. It was nowhere near the standard of the Mediterra Art Hotel, despite them telling me it was the same. I had a room so tiny that it was impossible to fully open the bathroom door because the bed was in the way. The stairs were small and not well lit. The bedroom door had a glass cut-out in it which let the bright light from the landing outside in. I was disappointed with the reaction of the staff at the Mediterra Art when I complained although they eventually moved me to a nicer place. They completely missed the point, however, which is that having made a reservation, I expected it to be honoured and to be able to stay in the actual hotel I was booked into. I notice that I am not the only one that this has happened to at this hotel so I would warn anyone who is booking into this very attractive place to make sure that your booking is certain. So I will rate this hotel on the place that they put me and should I return to Antalya, I will stay elsewhere.

“Beautiful old building in the old town fortress”

This hotel is set in the old town fortress. With tight streets & lots of charm.
The rooms are not grand but they are very clean, comfortable, a good size & very authentic.
It is a nice & quiet location.
The staff are very helpful & very polite.
The food is good- the breakfast is buffet & was good. We had dinner at the hotel ( as it was included in our package) & it was lovely.
It's lovely walking around the old town.

Room Tip: There is a lovely 24hr bakery across the road fro this hotel which has beautiful savory & sweet...

“Comfortable and well located”

Stayed at this hotel between 3-14th October. On arrival which was late evening we were greeted by the reception staff who was very helpful. As with other reviews we were not very impressed with breakfast which was very basic and not very appetising. The room was very big(deluxe) we booked this room again based on previous reviews and was glad we did as it was very roomy, the only downside is the shower as we had two days of rain and when we used the shower it ran cold, when we questioned this with the reception staff we were told that it is because the sun had not been out recently and the shower was run on solar! Surely in a hotel of this standard hot water constantly is a must. We would like to give a special mention to Sefer the restaurant waiter who was absolutely brilliant. He made us feel very welcome, he was very professional and worked so hard looking after all the guests, he made our stay here very relaxed personally bringing tea to our room when ordered and his eye to detail was outstanding. Overall we would definitely return here for a relaxed break.
