We stayed for 3 nights HB and enjoyed it. Food is good, staff are helpful. Lovely warm pool surrounded by orange trees. Sea warm also. Its well located for the old town and trams and buses once you understand how it works (we struggled at first - few maps nor info and every time a bus stops there's a debate with the driver about where its going, even with the locals) Hotel is about 100 m down an alley (clearly labelled 1302 off the main caddesi or avenue circling the old town). Safe enough during the day and evening but wouldn't be so comfortable looking for it for the first time in the early hours. Tip - we travelled up ourselves on the bus from Alanya, easy, but the Antalya coach station is miles up to the north of town but has a signposted tram stop about half a mile away which takes you to the corner of the old town where it is within sight of the other tram line. We found no public transport to the airport so took a taxi back for about £17. Public bus trips to Lara beach and the other beach (kontalki ? or soomething) are recommended. Antalya suffered from a few pesky flies while we were there, there appeared to be a lack of collection of rubbish which probably didn't help, but not enough to prevent a recommendation.
