“This Titanic is unsinkable”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed 31 January 2012

The winter experience in a Turkish Beach Resort can be very surprising, and a plesant experience. In the winter you do not have the hoards of people batteling for their favorite spot at the expansive pools, or at a beloved spot on the wide beach. Aside from the indoor pool which is always open, the Titanic offers a large heated pool in a protected corner next to the building which is open in the winter. The water in the olympic and other lovely pools that seem to endlessly cover the grounds is otherwise too cold. Still even on the coolest days one will always find a surprising number of harty souls on the beach, up against the wall, out of the wind, enjoying the sun which willl bounces off of the Med.

In the winter the Titanic will remind you more of a 5 star city hotel, located on the ocean, as the bars, restaraunts, game rooms, etc will be more the center of attention than the ocean, pools, or outdoor animation theater. The hotel offers some very nice in-hotel shops for picking up gifts and those things you may have forgotton to bring with you, as well as hair salon's for men and women, eyeglasses shop with fantastic prices compared to northern European shops.

Our only negative feeling at this hotel was that some of the help behind the front desk could have shown more interest in their customers/a more friendly responsive face. Could have to do with their lack of English? as most guests were German, Dutch, or Scandanavian speaking when we were there. Knowledgable they were. The room was very well cared for, the mini-bar in the room filled daily. We found a small leak under our bathroom sink on day 3, reported it, and it was fixed within an hour (while we had lunch). WiFi is everywhere, at a charge in the rooms, so it's easy to connect to the internet. This hotel is also close enough to the airport that they have, and we saw used a few days, large conference facilities.

Would we go back? Yes! It was very comfortable - food was great - big choice every meal.

Room Tip: This hotel was designed to look like a large ship (from the sea side), but about 1/2 way back toward...

“Fantastic hotel and holiday”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed 29 January 2012

Admittingly this review is very late as we went there in october 2010,
but i wanted to add it anyway,
we went as an extended family of 17 (5 familys in 6 rooms) we emailed the hotel in advance requesting to have our room all together, and were very pleased to find we were all in a row.
the hotel is fantastic so clean and well maintained, at times we had to wait quite some time for the lifts as the hotel was full and there seemed to be a lot of pushing in buy certain people even pushing infront of the pushchairs (very rude).
The food was fantastic always something different to eat if you looked for it, and no one went hungry for the whole 2 weeks, i will agree with some of the other reviews is there was a lot of queuing in the main buffet resturant sometimes not a good experience,
Pool: We spent all of our time at the childrens pool area with eth pirate ship and slides which the children & adults loved and also the adults loved the slides although the slides were closed on our second week.
The entertainment was a bit hit and miss, but the kids loved the childrens entertainment shame it didnt start untill really late and it was outside in the ampitheatre and it was freezing.

have been to turkey 5 times before and this has to be the bestest hotel by far. Soon as me and my mates stepped of the coach the staff were so helpful, carried our cases to the room which i must say is absolute fab and spotless. On to the pool area what can i say brill probably the bestest pool i have seen in turkey. And the food was delicious different variety evey diff and the chefs were lovely to. The hotel itself is huge so many diff stuff to do, and the entertainment is good to it also has a games room which is good if you have kids. Can not give one bad comment bout this hotel, and people who say this is a awful hotel or on a different planet, Defo going to return in the summer 10/10.

“Festive Break”
4 of 5 stars Reviewed 13 January 2012

All inclusive was good value for us on the package that we selected. Food was well prepared and good selection in the main dining area. Drinks were of a good standard always (both Alcoholic and non-alcoholic). At all times the staff were available in the main hotel areas and provided friendly, competent service and security was good.
Our mini break was over the Christmas period and we were pleasantly surprised to find that the hotel had made the effort to provide a lovely Christmas Tree in the main reception foyer and a selection of reindeer, Santa and outline tree decoration outlines in coloured lights around the outside entrance gardens of the hotel.
The gala Christmas Eve Dinner was a disappointment. Great efforts had been made again to theme the tables, menus etc but the event was oversubscribed and expensive. Therefore 2 small restaurant areas were used instead of the one location advertised. The tables were all cramped together and the photographer was not good so we have no personal souvenir of the night as a couple photo. The 4 course menu should have been a delight but the 2nd course in particular was disgraceful. We sent ours back a)because of presentation and b)because of taste - a minced meat and pepper- an over seasoned vol-au-vent instead of strips of beef in a vol-au-vent casing! It took at least 40 minutes between each course for it to be served. The main course and dessert saved the day and prevented us from demanding our money back, although we did leave very soon after the dessert, before the fruit.
When we visited the indoor swimming pool area it had not been cleaned or maintained to the standard of the main hotel area. There was no pool side service for soft drinks nor for problems when they occurred with a faulty locker. my husband had to come into the ladies locker room to open my locker as no one would come from the pool reception area. it appeared that unless you were having over - priced spa treatment there was no service.

“Excellent hotel not only for vacation but also for an international conference organization!”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed 29 November 2011

I don’t need to say much about the exceptional service level, facilities and overall offerings of Titanic Beach Resort Hotel, Antalya as reflected by the positive reviews posted here, which I concur personally. Instead, I wanted to provide a brief review focusing on the conference hotel features and unique level of service provided by the staff of Titanic Beach Resort Hotel to make our conference in mid October a success in spite of the bad weather in 3 days out of 4.

I was involved from the early on with the hotel selection in Turkey by the conference organizers. The managers of the hotel got personally involved starting from the initial contact till the last day of the conference, which is quite rare in five star hotels. Due to fragile economy across the world, total final number of registered participants was a big uncertainty for the conference organizers. The hotel management understood the constraints and offered some flexibility in making last minute adjustments without imposing severe penalties to the organizers.
Although there were few glitches at the beginning of the conference, thanks to the close attention of the managers and staff they were resolved immediately without any disruption to the conference or participants. So I would like to acknowledge and extend my appreciation to Mr. Erzaim and Ms. Cete for their keen attention and professional promptness in all matters.

Throughout our stay, the level of service extended to our conference and participants was beyond a typical five star hotel conference service. I am confident that majority of our participants would agree Titanic staff didn’t hesitate to go the extra mile in every aspect to make the conference organization a success and memorable one. All of the staff that I encountered appeared to enjoy their work and what they do, which I consider it as a significant accomplishment of the management style at Titanic Beach Resort Hotel.

The close proximity of the hotel to an international airport in Antalya (AYT) with direct flights from Europe and still being on the Mediterranean coast was a unique combination in addition to the exceptional conference facilities offered. Easy access to quality restaurants and food is one of the typical concerns in international conferences or when you are abroad. Especially when you are meeting with colleagues you haven’t seen for a while or with new colleagues you have met, deciding on where and how to go for lunch or dinner in another country is sometimes difficult unless you have a native with you. Titanic Hotel eliminated this problem by offering several very high quality diverse dining options within the hotel. The concern on where to eat was replaced with a new concern on how to resist tasting all the delicacies offered to avoid extra weight gain. One of the conference participant reported that he counted 29 different desserts for dinner service :) Based on the feedback I got, all of the participants greatly enjoyed both the famous Turkish cuisine and delicious samples from other cuisines around the world. The best part, it was all free of charge as this is an all-inclusive hotel (excluding the specialty theme restaurants, which required a nominal fee for reservation). A separate section in the main restaurant was always reserved for the conference participants during each meal, as table availability sometimes becomes a challenge in all-inclusive hotels especially when you have a big group.

In spite of the bad weather, on the last day we were able to see several historic sites namely, Perge, Side and Aspendos through a touristic tour organization arranged by the hotel. The tour operator with the assistance of hotel management offered the flexibility to postpone the tour due to weather conditions on the initially scheduled day. After this brief glimpse of sites, everybody wished we had more time to see all of the historic sites surrounding Antalya.
The Gala dinner organization with a professional belly dancer and live music arrangement was another remarkable social event of the conference.

As a Ph.D. level engineer/researcher, I had the opportunity to visit many five star hotels and resorts throughout the world including high profile hotels/resorts in Hawaii islands, North America and southern Europe while attending various international conferences and workshops. Without any reservation I can say this was the best conference hotel that I have ever stayed and enjoyed participating at a conference in a hotel.

I would strongly recommend it for conference organizations of all scope and scale as well as for vacation. I look forward to be back either through another conference opportunity or for holiday with my family.
