“Ideal hotel . . . . . . . as long as you are German!”
On arrival at Sherwood Breezes a couple of weeks ago, first impressions were very good. To be fair, the hotel was very clean and pleasing to the eye. The rooms were of a reasonable standard, although ours on the 9th floor, endured plenty of cold air coming under the door due to the breezy weather! The location of the hotel and the view from our room were both of a high standard, however whilst the room was comfortable (the bed exceptionally so!) we wonder whether this was of 5-star rating.
As regards to the catering, the quality of food was of a reasonable standard, yet again probably not meriting 5-star. The overriding problem with this hotel would seem to be the attitude of the employees, mainly the bar staff, who seem to overly favour anyone with a non-British accent! This to the point where the discussion amongst the few of us who were there centred around the general rudeness towards us. This seemed to extend in all areas of the hotel with the glowing exception of the animation team who were at all times very enthusiastic and amusing! On this note, a special mention for David, of the team, who perhaps should run customer service courses for the rest of the staff!
In conclusion, we were disappointed and would not return and do wonder about the merits of calling this hotel 5-star.
Room Tip: Steer clear of the 9th floor in winter.

First and foremost we would like to thank you for having chosen Sherwood Breezes Resort Hotel as your holiday destination.
We apologise for all that you went through.However,it is a pity that you did not mention your experience to us while still in the hotel. It is our duty to make sure you have the best of your holiday.
