“Sorry, a really miserable stay”
1 of 5 stars Reviewed 26 November 2011

We have just spent one (thank goodness, only one) night in this hotel. I really can't find anything good to say about it apart from the balcony and as this was November, we didn't spent much time outside! The room was dingy, the heating didn't work, the food was mediocre. The bar was fine - just as well - but we were really very disappointed. It wouldn't take much to improve things; the room was quite spacious but looked like a Travel Lodge from the 70s.

“Poor, budget hotel - suits retirees on budget”
1 of 5 stars Reviewed 8 November 2011

Low cost, budget hotel. No pictures on walls, no water or drinks allowed in rooms (unless pay sky high prices). We had big tour groups who consumed as much food possible within designated times! Doors banging in night, very poor sleep throughout.

“Tourist Hotel”
3 of 5 stars Reviewed 25 September 2011

This hotel caters for the tourist market especially those on coach tours, thus the guests are there for one or two nights. The staff are friendly and the hotel clean, and is undergoing some tidy-up. Meals are buffet style and well stocked, with the seating arrangements set-out for group travel. There is a very large outside swimming pool, and small garden. Conference facilities had seen better days, but is adequate offering rooms of various sizes. Bedrooms are adequate on par with tourist hotels, but with a dual carriage way road infront of the hotel, the windows need to be replaced to reduce the voice level. Some distance from the shops and a taxi ride to Antalya town centre. Good views of the see, although a very long walk, and the mountains.

Room Tip: For a quiet night from traffic noise, ask for a rear facing room. Good views from the front rooms.

“just alright... i've stayed in worse hotels”
3 of 5 stars Reviewed 2 November 2009

i had no choice but to stay in this hotel since it was booked by our tour group. quite under-rated if they (the tour organizers) claim that this was a 4-star hotel. don't get me wrong... it's live-able for sleeping purposes. airy, breathable... the aircon works at least. but you can't find other food here other than typical tour-group type of food which is quite bad. i had to stay behind one day because i wasn't feeling well. but luckily there was wifi at the hotel lobby so i was able to sit there and use the internet. eventually i wanted to go somewhere and not coop-up in my room so i asked the front desk where the nearest mall was. good thing, there was one- the biggest one actually in antalya. luckily, the hotel manager was there and overheard me and even offered to drive me there himself! it's withing walking distance but i'd say- 15 minutes- it looked like it was like far but near if you look at it from the room. there is a nearby mc donald's but that's about it. if you take a cab back from that mall, they'll over-charge you. even the manager warned me about it. i just couldn't walk back so i had no choice but to take a cab. this hotel isn't too bad...it's just average though. nothing fancy so don't expect much.

“Not flash.”
2 of 5 stars Reviewed 27 July 2009

The lifts are ancient take only 4 people and the doors are manually operated. Our room had a balcony but no safe, no glasses, no soap and the lighting was awful. It is 45 mins walk away from the nearest internet cafe. The pool was being maintained so it mattered little that it was damn cold.
The dining room staff wanted to get away so whisked the plates away tout suite the instant they were empty. They even served up chips (frys) as part of the evening meal. The meals were standard awful tourist fare - don't eat here unless it is part of your package.
The front desk made a mess of our on arrival registration so we had to do it again before we could check out. No big deal but indicative of sloppiness and lack of client focus.
Then there is the location. The last tram stop for the hotel is the wonderful Antalya Museum - well worth 3-4 hours or more if you can spare it. From the museum it is a 30 min walk to the hotel. It is 9 YTL by taxi from the hotel to the city. tram is fun but be prepared to walk - it is flat but there is no protection from the sun and no cafes en route.
