“Great Location - Unfriendly Atmosphere!”

The hotel was good, very close to the beach and the markets. Located in the old town, away from the noise of cars and the hustle of the main town itself. The room we stayed in was good, the bathroom clean and view fantastic. The only thing that let this hotel down was the staff... they seem to DISLIKE ENGLISH and during our stay this seem to be the vibe amoungst other guests. (I do not mean the usual drinking all day, English louts, I am referring to professionals and well mannered English) This for me ruined the holiday, as when you have breakfast and use the facilities you are made to feel unwelcome. The pool on site was small and mainly located in the shade, and the gym equipment seem disused. The hotel is surrounded by citrus tress which look beautiful. The private beach is open early and closes around 9pm, situated about ten minutes away ( you pay a small fee each day to use the beach) The private beach seems to serve most hotels around the area, very clean with loungers and amenities, with a stunning backdrop of Mountains. The location is wonderful..just the hotel staff let it down massively.

Room Tip: Ask for higher floor to take in stunning views towards the sea & mountains.

“Hotel Aspen-the best hidden treasure in Antalya's old city”

I stayed two nights in this lovely hotel in the old part of Antalya, just above the beach and harbor areas. Tucked away on a quiet street, the hotel is a welcome relief from the overbuilt outskirts of the city. The staff are welcoming, the rooms are lovely, and there is a beautiful pool and bar area to enjoy after sightseeing. The food in the restaurant is scrumptious, and the breakfast buffet is full and complete. The rooms are large and spotless; internet is free and reliable. I can’t say enough wonderful things about this hotel! (As a side note, I dropped my camera on the cobblestone street, and the shutter stopped working. I asked the hotel manager if there might be someone in town who could fix it, never dreaming that it would actually be possible. He thought briefly, drew me a map, and sent me off on foot for a trip adventure...the man he recommended fixed my camera in about five minutes and charged me 5 Turkish lira (about $2.50). THAT'S a helpful hotel manager!!!!)

“the place of dreams”

The pictures you sea for Aspen hotel in the net cannot describes this place , cause it has special spirit especially the upper yard with it,s fountain and orange trees , it reminds you by the old Damascene houses and also the red salon and it,s fireplace with the glassy wall that you can sit inside and see the yard and the street , the people we met from the staff were very helpful Omite from the front office and Ally the luggage man ,the rooms were cleaned daily , the breakfast was adequate but no big variety as example there were no any kind of cakes , the rooms are relatively narrow , the pool is small but it has a 2 m depth and it was always not crowded , as for me i had special difficulty that i hate ascension and the hotel is located on high point of one of the narrow streets of the old city (kaleici) and then i have to ascend stairs to the lobby and another one to the lift to go to my room in second floor, but in general i liked the area of kaleici and Aspen hotel and i prefer the old city because it was the third visit to Antalya but the first time to stay in such charming area.

“Paradise in Antalya”

My wife and I stayed here for one week in September and was very pleased with the hotel and impressed by the location. The area is stunning and the people over nice. The shopping is great but be strong and do not be pressured into buying things you really don't want. The local beach is a pay as you go beach but well worth the cost and the food was amazing and cheap. Must try the shesha and visit the Turkish gardens, they may look a bit grubby but you are in a different country with different ways to us Brits, which makes this holiday so so special. Be aware Club Ally, it looks really impressive but the drinks were dear and I was approached by a gentleman and "offered company" I declined the offer and informed the guy I had company(my wife). All in all I will defiantly go back to this hotel to relax and have fun.

“Nice small hotel, Great location”
4 of 5 stars Reviewed 20 September 2011

We stayed for a week. The Aspen is a pretty hotel in a very good position in the old town. The staff were great, especially the waiters who deserve great praise. The swimming pool is small, but we always found loungers. The fountain courtyard was lovely Our room had a balcony! It was over the street and at times it was too hot to sit out. The room was, we believe, larger than the standard ones in the main block but did have a rather tired bathroom. We coped and it was very clean. We loved breakfast, good choice for a Turkish Hotel and you could have as much coffee from the machine as you wanted. The dinner buffet looked nice and we were told by others that it was very good, though it was inside and we tended to go into town for a view in the open air. Noise wasn't a problem for us with the windows closed and the A/C on, though being low down may also have helped. We were told it was closing for renovations - Don't know whether this is correct.

Room Tip: 4 rooms low down have balconies
