“BASIC BUT FAB HOLIDAY 2010”

We stayed at the tuna apartments for 2 weeks, We went self catering and took £1000 spending money. We arrived at 1 o'clock in the morning to be greated by a smiling face. When we got off the bus people where laughing but after our holiday i bet the last laugh was on them because their 5 star all inclusive had not been as enjoyable as ours. The rooms were all basic but clean. The pool is small and shallow but so were all the others. The food we ate at the hotel was cheap and tasty. If you eat out i recommend the green house and big horn in alanya centre. All the staff were helpfull and never bothered you but were there if you needed anything.

Before we set off I had a look here on trip advisor and then I was worried!! but as the previous couple of guests have written there was absolutely no need to panic. The Tuna apartments were very well situated for us with a young child 6 with special needs .He wears splints on his right side and when we arrived in the early hours it was no problem to change our room to a ground floor even though there is a lift. When we were given the room it had a bedroom with its own balcony and a living area with 2 setee which folded down into beds it was very spacious. There was no kettle but there was a turkish teapot which done us and there was also a coffee machine. There was a good sized fridge and 2 hobs to cook on a good non stick frying pan.The added bonus was that the Migros...thats the local supermarket...Just 2 mins round the corner. The beach was just across the road and the taxi rank was just out to the right. We also found several nice places to eat , which were only a short walk away. Bob and Tommy were great and the chef was great too if he had it he would make it. If he didnt have it he would attempt to make it .The manageress was great too she was always friendly and they were all especially nice to our son who was never out of the pool. For a last minute late deal we were pleasantly surprised and will definetly go back..If there was anything to complain about it would be the fact that the cleaning lady never got to our rooms till about 5,just when our son had a nap a,so the rooms werent cleaned as often as they should have been but that was just our routine, they always gave in towels and loo rolls though. Loved the place will hopefully go back soon

“Had a great vacation at the Tuna Apartments, Alanya, Turkey”

My girlfriend and I booked this holiday 3 weeks before travelling. We needed a weeks rest and relaxation in the sunshine which wouldn't break the bank. We got exactly what we wanted from our vacation. The Tuna apartments were spot on. Just right for our needs. We had everything we needed there. The staff were really nice especially Bob, who seemed to work there 24/7. Our room had a balcony which had a sea view. The room had good fridge, little hob for any cooking, couches, TV, good bathroom and comfy beds. Air con paid locally cost £45 but we didn't need it. The pool was great. It had the sun all day and the bar is right next to it, making it all to easy to grab an Efes beer. The bar food was great. Nothing especially fancy but perfect for lazy lunches by the pool.
Location was superb, 50 meters from the lovely Kleopatra beach (sunsets recommended). Our apartments were at the quieter end of the resort which suited us just fine. There were lots of restaurants and bars close by though so we were very happy. The hotel bar serves until the small hours if you'd rather stay local and there is a big supermarket 2 mins away from the hotel so you can sit on your balcony with a glass of wine if you'd prefer. Nothing fancy but the week was perfect and we'd happily return to the Tuna Apartments again sometime.

“Excellent stay with fantastic and friendly service!”

i have to say i don't think i have ever stayed anywhere that i have felt more welcome. Apartment was spacious, clean and had everything needed with a broken sea view. I travelled to Alanya with my boyfriend and his grandad and before booking i had to take into account distance from the beach etc...as his legs aren't getting any younger, the TUNA APARTMENTS were ideal for us as the lovely beach is literally just over the road. the shop on the corner is ideal for picking up fresh bread and groceries the guys who run it were always very friendly one of the cheapest in the area as well which is a bonus. There is a very efficient and cheap bus service to the surrounding area which is very handy if you want to explore. Back to the Tuna, i did read a few reviews before we went and was a little worried afterwards but please do not be put off. We did have a great time. Tommy and Bob (the two main barmen) and the managers/reception staff were absolutely brilliant. nothing too much trouble and extremely helpful. The pool area is lovely. (the pool ample size) We ate there almost every night because the food is fantastic the service even better. They are enthusitastic people and will ask if you are eating there but only so they can set up a table etc... for you when you come down. Tommy and bob really did look after us especially grandad always having a laugh and a joke and making sure everything was ok for him. The Turkish night is a must! There is a great friendly atmosphere at the tuna and the people made our holiday.
