“Some of the reviews here are for different hotels with similar names”
3 of 5 stars Reviewed 21 May 2011

We had a bargain so was quite happy with the hotel for the price paid, however the beds were really small and uncomfortable and the bedding used was literally a bottom sheet and a hospital style crochet blanket not a pleasant site after arriving at 3:30am. I asked for more sheets the next day which were bought to the room immediately so I cannot complain about the service. You cannot take the All Inclusive drinks up to your room so if you like a drink on the balcony you will have to buy a bottle or two to keep in your fridge.
The hotel was small but friendly and clean, there was entertainment on a couple of nights (I recommend the Turkish night as the dancers were fantastic) the hotel is across the road from Kleopatra Beach which is lovely (you need to be careful if with young children though as the sand dips down a long way within a few feet of the shore). There is an All Inclusive Bar belonging to the Dreams Beach numbered 19 where you can get free Beer and Soft Drinks only. If you want a sunbed book it at reception as it is cheaper than on the beach.
The food was good quality buffet style with soup, salads, a small selection of hot dishes and desserts and breakfast was continental style but with fried eggs and sausage too.
The harbour is a good 40 minute walk away (not 10minutes as some people suggest - probably referring to other Kleopatra Hotels) It is full of shops, bars and restaurants. You will get hassled continually on the way there with people trying to get you to go in their shops (mostly designer copies) but good quality and cheap so make sure you have room in your suitcase - you will have to barter with them for a good price and can usually buy for less than 1/2 the price they started with. At first we found them fun but by the end of the week we just wanted to walk without being stopped all the time, they asked where we came from and on replying English they would all say 'Lovely Jubbly' and even though most were very friendly - some were rude mumbling in their own language as you declined politely (wish I learnt the Turkish insults to catch them out!) you can buy in Turkish Lira or Euro and some take Sterling.
We went on a boat trip for about £15 each - the boats are lovely but not much of a trip (2 hours were taken up for a lunch break in a small marina with nothing to see) I would recommend you avoid this and choose another trip.
We got a taxi (approx 20 TL or £9) to Alanya Castle which had beautiful views - do not try to walk it as its a long way uphill, the entrance fee is 10TL and it takes no more than an hour to look around but worth doing.

Arrived to rain, however hotel staff very friendly & welcoming. Family room basic but very
very clean. All inclusive - local beer & wines absolutely fab. Buffet of different salads
which included every thing from traditional Turkish to english salads. Hot food
Kebabs to stews all very nice. Plenty of choice even for the fussy kids. Breakfast was continental, plenty of meat selections & cereals. Not much entertainment during our stay but i think this was due to it been April & early season.
The hotel staff are fantastic very helpful & charming.
One complaint both indoor & outdoor pools were freezing!!!
Would definately return but maybe later in the season probabaly June, as could be a little
chilly!!

What a surprisingly good hotel! Frist impressions on arrival at 4am were not good with steep slope leading to reception but the staff were really good and spoke english! Even offered to get us something to eat as we had been travelling so long. Bedroom had a side view of beach which was across the road but good view. Cleanliness in hotel was excellent and sheets and towels were changed every other day. Staff were so friendly and could not be faulted - especially reception and waiters - 2 in particular come to mind. We upgraded to all inclusive as Thomas Cook only do half board and saved a fortune on drinks - quite pricey from bar. Evening entertainment was only on 3 nights and repeated every week so on our 2nd week we knew what to expect. Hotel very centrally located and easy walking distance for harbour/castle and great shopping to be had. Food was buffet style but always a good selection to be had by everyone. The only drawback in this hotel is that there were not many UK citizens but most nationalities were friendly and could speak some english. All in all we had a wonderful introduction to Turkey and made some lovely friends. Would recommend this hotel and we will definitely be going back for a 2nd visit sometime soon.

ewe travelled to this hotel in august and could not fault in any way. the hotel was absolutely spotlessly clean. the rooms were a good size and spotlessly clean also as were the pool and surrounding area.we changed to all inclusive on arrival which was worth doing. the only criticism would be that the food got a bit repetitive.the hotel caters mainly for other nationalities but waiters and all staff were friendly.
