I ve chosen this hotel esp. for the view. The hotel is just 5 min. walking distance involving down the stairs from Kleopatra Beach (Blue Flag World Famous) so if you can not walk up or down the stairs (if you are too old ) I wouldn't recommend this hotel for you. It actualy helped me to keep fit :-) You can take a taxi cheap as chips when coming back up less than 3 Euros. I ve been around the world and this one had one of the best view (believe me there are so many hotels out there facing to the street or somebodys messy garden)
The history of Alanya Castle and Sultan Alaaddin and historical Mosques were very interesting to study.
There was a free pickup service to Havana Beach Club and Palm Beach.When you go out for dining many restaurants do also offer free pick up service and drop you back to the hotel.

Yes! Bella Vista is horrible hotel!! I didn't like it at all.
Who made built hotel so far from beach and so high???
I mean way to beach is bad but way from beach to hotel is terrible. 400 metres up to mount in hot day is not good feeling.Of course you can go on taxi but it costs 6 lira(= 3 euro) I also didn't like that there was too much cats, spiders,snalis and grasshoppers who came to rooms. It's very gros
Prices in hotel are too high. Really 4,50 lira (=2,25 euro) is too much from glass of juice ....
Cleaning in the rooms is also bad. When I came, in my room (and in many others rooms) was very dirty towel and nobody even change it for clear. In room was also starnge smell....
Only good thing there was panorama but I rather board in hotel with panorama on dump than hotel which is on mount!!!! And by the way near to hotel is Mecca and you can hear all the time (also in 4 am.) how people invite pray to Mecca.

We stayed in Bella Vista Apartmens one week and we had really nice time there. The view is wonderful, maybe the best in Alanya!! The beautiful sea and mountaiview made me amazed all the time.

Rooms:
The rooms were big enough, we had lot of space. We took room for three people and there still could have stayed even two or three people more I think. Big balcons were also nice. It was nice to sit in the balcon and look the sundown over the Mediterranian. :)

Rooms were also quiet and clean. And again, the view is really good - you can see the Mediterrenian and the mountains.

The only problem what we had was with the plug of the bathtub. It was difficult to fix,so it was difficult to keep water stay in bathtub and take baths. But taking the shower was no problem, we could get both hot and cold water.

Staff:

The staff was ok, specially our sweet cleanerlady. Charlie in the bar was funny and showed us many tricks.

Location:
The hotel is located near to Alanya castle and it is up to hill. So if you don't wanna use taxi all the time be ready for quite hard walking!! When you go down to city it is easy, but coming back means lot of walking and long long stairs.. For us it was just fun and really good exercise, but I wouldn't recommed this hotel for elderly because of lot of walking - unless they don't use taxi all the time.

Walking down the hill is also fun, because if you use stairs, you will walk trough the apartmens of the turkish people. They will say "hello!" to you and be happy when they see you there :) And when you get down from the hill you are in Alanya centrum, close to harbour area and it's nightlife.

Cleopatra Beach is also located near to hotel.

We have stayed at the Bella Vista Apartments for a month and we are staying for another month. Alanya is a little slice of heaven and the Bella Vista Apartments are fantastic. They are large, clean, modern, airconditioned and have 2 balconies, one off the bedroom and a huge balcony off the lounge room with magic views to the beach and the Taurus Mountains. To sit with a cold Raki watching the magnificent sunset is bliss. The staff are helpful and speak very good English. There is free beach transport service morning and night with a discount given for beach lounges & umbrellas at Damlatas Beach. The pool and restaurant staff give great service but the food is below standard for the quality of the apartments. We will always stay here and recommend it with confidence.
