“First holliday in Turkey”

Was happened in 2009,after a few recomandation.Doganay beach is a beautiful hotel, but a little too far from Antalya Airport. The food was good, fresh and diversified. The beach are verry confortable because the sand is fine and the road about 100 meters to the beach is under teran. The sea water is warm, and the waves are not to high. The animation team is verry social, and they have time for everyone. All people of that resort are treated the same.
The staff are friendly and verry careful.
In conclusion, i rate this hotel with 4.
Best regards,

Tomi K.

“Definately recommend for a family holiday in October”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed 23 November 2011

Stayed for a week in late October in a family room with my mother and two kids, 15 and 3. We all had a great time and thoroughly enjoyed the hotel and its facilities. Loved the beach, the pools, the food, turkish bath, shops, everything really. My daughter (3) went to the mini disco every evening and loved it - she is still talking about it. Some of the entertainment was really good. The perfect weather helped, of course :)
Highly recommend a day trip with Dolphin Dive, Alanya. We got picked up and dropped off at the hotel and went on a beautiful boat trip, 2 dives, lovely lunch and very reasonably priced. Enjoyed our day trip to Side too. The rest of the time in the hotel - as I say - plenty to do, eat and drink - very relaxing. My son (15) played beach volleyball, football, jet ski, para sailing, internet cafe, and of course, swimming in the pools and perfect sea. The beach and beach terrace and cafe are lovely. Gardens nice too. Haven't really got anything bad to say apart from being put in an inadequate room for the first night (then changed to our family room the next day which was fine - but not posh ie not 5 star) Definately recommend tho', especially for families.

“Very Good Value”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed 21 November 2011

Arrived in early hours. Thunder, lightening torrential rain. Could it get any worse. Yes, our tour operator booked the wrong accommodation. We booked a family room with two separate bedrooms and bathrooms, but were given a small family room with bunk beds suitable for two small children. We are three adults aged 64, 59 and 58. We don't blame the hotel, they showed us the booking they had received. We had to stay in that room that night but they moved us the following morning. We moved into a much larger room with double bed, single bed and sitting area then glass sliding doors into another room with two single sofa beds. But we still had to walk through a bedroom to get to the bathroom. The hotel staff were great. It was very clean and we had good service. The drinks available were the best we have had in Turkey. Really good selection. Food was good. Although the weather was poor we still had three good days and made some great friends from Amsterdam. I would definately recommend this hotel as long as your tour operator gets your booking right.

Room Tip: Our room was in main hotel at front just above restaurant. Fantastic sea view.

“Good facilities, excellent animation team!”

We stayed for a week in late oct and would rate it very good. The bedrooms and public areas were all kept very clean and the lighting in the lobby etc is all very impressive.
The staff in general were very friendly and helpful. A particular mention has to go to the bar staff in lobby bar who worked extremely hard all through the evening and the animation team who were all brilliant and also very talented. The dance show took my breath away!
I liked the food and there was plenty choice with salad and fruit each day. There is always somewhere during the day where you can get food.
You can easily get into alanya by dolmus, about 10 mins journey and easy to do.
The beach is quite rocky at the shoreline which makes paddling a bit difficult, however once you get past the rocks it's fine. They have thoughtfully built a pier with steps at the end so you can bypass the rocks completely and get in that way.
For those who haven't been to turkey before, it's true what they say about 5 star being equivalent of 3 star elsewhere and I have stayed at nicer hotels of same rating in turkey, but this was perfectly acceptable and we had a very
relaxing enjoyable holiday.

Not a five star hotel but if your looking for five star in turkey you need to book a seven star. Very clean well looked after hotel. Entertainment team were great organising loads to do in and around the family pool during the day, (another pool for the sun bathers) they were also your entertainment team on a night which was average. If u weren't interested in show, different drinking areas up top but I must admit it was a bit boring only having one room with music. 24 hour food and drink and late disco. Fantastic maid service. We got a sea view but you also hear the traffic day and night. The on site facilities were fab, sauna, massage, turkish bath, indoor pool and through the tunnel from the hotel the beech with free sun lounger, parasol, food and drink. Huge food choice but needed to be first to sample it and sometimes they may be a small queue. No other bars or ammenities around so if u like to walk around not much to see. Bus service from hotel to take u into Alanya but really cheap on the local buses. Overall i found it well worth the money we paid but I wouldn't go back as it was really boring on a night and with no others bars or clubs around we ended of going into Alanya most nights which was costly (beer and food could be quite expensive) when we were all inclusive.

Room Tip: Do not ask for a front sea view as the traffic is really loud day and night.
