I visited Wien hotel in late August 2008. I find it a great value for money. It is a very, very good 3 star hotel. Ideal location, 10 minutes walking from the center of Alanya, through a shopping street, close to big supermarkets (Migros and Macro). It is practically on the beach (you need to cross the street and a green area), which is nice, with parasols and beds for only 2.5 eur/day. The beach is now crowded, although it seems that lots of Turkish people come at that beach, especially during early morning and late afternoon. The surrounding is beautiful, lots of palms, grass, flowers, so you'll enjoy walking around. There is a small swimming pool, not really for swimming, but good for cooling. The hotel is very well maintained, the cleaning ladies were really doing a great job. The hotel itself is recently renovated, small, but very cute and comfortable rooms. You have to pay 1.5 eur/day for using the fridge (minibar) and also for the safe box. The food was very nice. Breakfast the same every day-cheese, salami, boiled eggs, some fruit, some vegetables, butter, corn flakes, marmalade, honey. The dinner was perfect, very tasty, different every evening, lots of starters, fresh salads, cooked vegetables, some meat, soup, desserts... The staff in the restaurant is not perfect, one of them was trying to sell a trip around the area with his car for 15 Eur, but you ignore them and you are OK. I would highly recommend this hotel because of its location, visual look and food. Only one recommendation-Alanya has terribly warm and humid climate in the summer, until you get used you can really suffer.
