We spent a week at the Oxford Apartments in September just for a break.
We were met off the coach by the staff who carried our bags to our rooms. After freshening up we went down for breakfast and I thought they were never going to stop feeding us, do try the Turkish breakfast!
The atmosphere is so friendly and relaxed, the apartments large and roomy and the service so personal,welcoming and fun. Eveywhere is spotlessly clean. It really is a 3 star hotel with 5 star service. Downstairs looks very much like a hotel with reception, lounge, bar etc, it's only when you go through your own door upstairs that it is evident that it's a large, roomy and well laid out apartment.
We told the chef we would like to have dinner all week but wanted to eat Turkish meals. He did us so proud I felt as if I had my own personal chef. At 8pm every evening which is when I said I like to eat, he had a table prepared for us and we never ate from the menu. There was a different Turkish meal every night, often cooked at the table and I don't think we once managed to finish all of it, but it was delicious and cooked with love and care.
The staff there couldn't do enough for us and yet never crowded us. It really was a superb hotel and a wonderful holiday.
We are going back next year but for 2 weeks.
