We were 3 families. All was very bad of this hotel. The room was not cleaning, the bed clothes didn`t changed, bad meal, the towel we got only at 23 h, the people from reception was really unfriendly.
Not recommend.
We were 3 families with kids. (6 adults 3 kids and 2 infants). We have picked this hotel, because it has good record for accepting families. It was really. Staff was very friendly and helpful. It had a beautiful playground for small kids. 2 small Swimming pools 40cm deep - specially for children.
ROOMS.
The rooms we have received were of differing quality, none of them ideal. Some small things were missing (remote for air conditioner in one of the rooms), bath tub hole cap in another and malfunctioning door of the clothing rack..
On the plus side, rooms were clean. nice beds for children were present. Each room had a small fridge with couple of free bottles of mineral water in them (not refillable). It seems to me that he best rooms on the top with windows into sea side (because of the view), but on the other hand, these rooms are most used and had most things broken...
Restaurant:
Quite good. 9 out of 10. Lots of fruit and vegetables. Separate menu for kids (3-4 dishes). Each day at least 2 kinds of soup and at least 4 types of main dishes. Desserts are beautifully served, but could be improved. Lots of various green salads.
BEACH is OK. Close to hotel. Enough space for all guests.
SLEEP if window is open - noise from nearby restaurants or from animation are can be hard, not good if you like to go to bed early. Local animation program is completed before midnight. So from midnight it is quite silent.
Free WI-FI is available in the lobby of the hotel.
To sum up I wold recommend this hotel for families with kids.
I was here on business and had few other choices due to the high holiday season. We had sent a bank wire over a week in advance to pay for our rooms in full. When we arrived they said that we had not paid. It was 1 am so I told them to call their bank in the am. They still denied receiving the wire and the manager kept calling my room. When I showed him the wire receipt, then he said, oh yes, the wire just came...then he wanted me to drink coffee with him and chat. Creepy!
The food was pretty boring and the same everyday. The rooms are small and the beds are hard. The bathrooms are a joke...if you are at all overwieght or have bad knees, you will not be able to get in the shower...which goes cold all the time. I tried to rehook up the cable to the tv and got shocked by the frayed wire. The stairs are all poorly maintained and dangerous. The elevators barely work, so if you are not willing to walk several flights in the heat, don't stay here.
All of this would have been acceptable, except that the staff was so rude! I asked for an ATM/cash machine and the guy said he did not know where one was. IT IS JUST OUTSIDE OF THE HOTEL! ! The charge you for everything...10 euro deposit for a beach towel and 10 euro rental fee. 1 euro for the internet...and so on.
My room was facing the back pool where they had some ridiculous stage show everynight. My room was so loud from 9-midnight that I had to wear noise cancelling headphones to sleep, and still I could hear the cacauphony. Mind you, there are about 8 people a night at this fabulous stage show! When I called the front desk to ask how long it lasted, she was rude and hung up on me. The only good thing about the service is the maids are friendly.
Did I mention that it is crawling with stray cats??
Do yourself a favor and book the Blue Sky, or if you have a few more $$s to spare, the Kaptan.
I just got back from Krizantem hotel and I had a perfect vacation.
The reception and service staff are very friendly and helpful, the only inconvenience is that they speak only russian and turkish and it's quite hard to talk with them and to understand each other, but that's ok you can find a way:)
The rooms and everywhere was clean. The food is great every day is something different.
There were two clean big swimming pools and one smaller one.The beach is huge and the best thing is that the beach is with a great sand not stones.
The animation team is awesome. The animation for children is high level, for the elderly is only the disco.
And the hotel is near the center and all the sightseeings.
So if you have to go to a **** hotel that's the best choice.
HAVE A NICE TRIP:)
Hotel is more than you can expect for the money you pay for it.
Food is great and there is more than enough.
If you wait untill the russian people are seated with there food again, you do not have to wait in line.
The employees of the hotel are very helpfull and friendly.
We had a great week at Krizantem.
