The hotel has the best location at the Kleopatra beach; located at the beach and very close to the centrum.
I find the staff very friendly and they really want to get to know you better even personally, they are helpful with everything you need and always happy with a big smile on their faces.

I has been with my familjy to Alanya 3 times and we have always stayed in Palmiye Beach hotel which we all think is the best. Very nice personal, charming and taking good care of the guests and clean rooms, near to the centrum and very very cloose to the beach. It is perfect. We have also contact with the personal in the hotel over internet, and that is so nice and fun. Want to give my best regards to all of the staf on the Palmiye Beach hotel and we see you again in September this year.

I had read the reviews of this hotel before we left as I always do. Unfortunately I have to agree totally with them. The guys who worked at reception were the first problem. Their English was not great so we had a lot of problems getting more coat hangers, towels etc or indeed finding out any information about the local area.Also, there are no information books in English.In fact apart from one other English couple, we were the only British family there.The hotel is full of Scandinavians or Germans. As another reviewer commented, the biggest disappointment for us was the pool. It is more like an indoor pool, being situated right in the middle of the hotel. There are no sun loungers round it so we never used it in the 2 weeks we were there. We thought therefore we wouldn't be charged for beds on the beach. This was not the case. The cost of hiring beds and umbrellas for 2 weeks really mounts up. You are also not allowed to bring your own food or drink either on to the hotel's section of the beach or indeed into the hotel. As a previous reviewer said, you are "invited" to hire the mini bar in your room. We didn't bother. The choice at breakfast was very limited and I'm glad we were on a B&B basis only as the quality and quantity of the buffet dinner looked very poor. The a la carte menu is good though.And the outside terrace where all meals are served is lovely . You can have your dinner right on the beach at the water's edge which we did on our last night for our friend's son's birthday party. They made a special fuss of us and it was really nice.There is only limited evening entertainment. The show on the Sunday night with the fire eaters and snake charmers was very good though
The rooms are basic and ours was in need of a facelift. Friends who had rooms on the other side were much happier with theirs. The air con in the rooms was good and we needed it as the temp reached 41C some days

This hotel was very basic. It had clean rooms and the maids cleaned the room daily etc..The food was ok but had tradtional Turkish meals. This hotel has 4 floors and there is no lift or help with your bags.We were on the 4th floor. There are alot of hidden costs here so bear this in mind. You are expected to pay for sunbeds on the beach - I did not mind as it was so hot. The hotel expects you to rent the mini bar in your room including paying for the drinks in it. You are not allowed to buy drinks or food from outside and take them to your room. We did not hire the mini bar but was accused of taking a beer from it. There was no apology either.There was only 1 evening of entertainment and there is nothing for children to do. Hotel is far from the town centre so you need to take a bus/taxi to look around. You are constantly harrassed by salesman and people asking you in for drinks/food. I did expect it but not to this extent. Ideal for fake goods if you want cheap designer goods such as clothes, bags, sunglasses. Do not get conned into buying perfume its all fake and expensive so save you cash for buying it on the plane or at the airport.Overall we thought the resort was expensive on food and drinks so take more money with you. We did have a nice holiday so please do not let our review put you off. I just wanted to warn you of all the hidden extras.
