i have been in tunisia for first time in tunisia and i can tell this hotel is the best i ever was in:) there is all: entertainment, good food, nice rooms and beatiful environment :)
i can only recommend this hotel. and next holiday i certainly will come back.

The hotel is nice and modern the staff from checking in to leaving were first class the bar staff waiters reception and animation team all work very hard to give you a good holiday a special mention to our hard working room maid who tried to keep our room spotless but could not stop the insect invasion Like mrs f manchester stated there are insects everywere My girlfreind was very ill at the end of the holiday thats why we would never return to hotel eden we would never reccomend any of our friends visit a hotel with low basic hygine with flies all over the dining room and swarming around you if you try to eat outside Its obvious some visitors will end up ill

Having visied the Eden Club during August of this year, I felt the need to write an honest review for those people thinking of booking a budget family holiday.

AIRPORT - BEWARE upon arrival you are approached by taxi drivers touting for fare, as we booked this holiday independantly we negotiated a price of 15 dinars £7.50 when he noted my partner had golf clubs this instantly increased to 20 which we didn't mind. WATCH YOUR BELONGINGS ie DUTY FREE!!! whilst you are getting comfy in the taxi your duty free items are being snatched ie the bag is slit from the bottom!!!

LOCATION - if you like to get out and about in the resort, not for you. However taxi's are cheap, but if you are ok staying on the complex, this would be fine

HOTEL - clean and tidy, plenty of facilities for children incl kids club, evening entertainment, nice beach and pools, popcorn/crepe bar (incurs a charge)

FOOD - is basic and not much choice at all, however I defy anybody not to be able to make a meal what is out on offer, they do also have a pizzeria outside, throw on a few toppings of your own, bingo. The downside as is was August naturally it would be busy, but when I say feeding time at the zoo it was literally that!!! especially at lunchtime with the chips, seeing is believing. Unforrunately the majority of the guests are international with no consideration for others!!!! but patience is a virtue and once the trays are emptied and the masses dispurse, think smart, serving spoon/tongs in hand....first come first serve!!!! and yes there are flies but this is Tunisia, we were fine and did not experience any illness.

As I said this hotel is full of international guests, so if you are like us and happy to keep yourselves to yourselves, fine or travelling as a group also fine.

To sum it up if you are a family looking for a budget holiday with great weather and food you can eat, then this is OK for you, we paid just £1000 for 2 x Adults during August, therefore I have no complaints.

I stayed with in September for 2 weeks with two friends ( all ex-Tunisia Thomas Cook Reps), and we all had a blast.
There was always a huge selection of food available and lots of space to eat either in the restaurant or on the terrace.
The rooms were better than expected. Very large and very clean.
As we stayed during Ramadan we were expecting staff to be a little grumpy, however quite the opposite, they were extremely polite and friendly and all spoke English.
We were a minority in the hotel being the only English in hotel until the last couple of days when we met up with two more girls who were fab.
Being the only English though was great because even if people did complain, we didnt understand them so made for a better stay, and to be honest I came away from England for a holiday and was quite pleased there were no others there.
Having worked in Skanes, for many years I was pleasantly suprised to see new shopping centres and restaurants popping up in the area as well.
The entertainment and animation team were great, Tevez, Joseph, Bibi, Sam, Diego, James, Carlos and Mario all worked extremely hard to please all guests and were never without a smile. The shows they did and the effort put in are a credit to the hotel.
The beach was beautiful, even if the sea did have a fair bit of seaweed around, it would have been better if it had been cleaned up like it is a bit further down the beach, but all in all I couldnt complain.
My only warning is regarding the drinking glasses in the restaurant. Guests tend to swipe them off the tables before you get there, so you just have to take them off others.
The all-inclusive doesnt include spirits or still water (2 dinars if you want to buy it). Fizzy water is free however, but too be honest the beer was doing the trick.
My overall opinion is for what we paid for two weeks it was an absolute bargain and we are already looking at going back there to the same hotel next year.
The hotel also has a beach bar which can be a little quiet at the beginning however after the entertainment in the hotel is finished it dies get a lot busier and has a great atmosphere. We were generally the first in and last to leave, and again we were made to feel very welcome. I would recommend this hotel to anyone who justs wants a carefree relaxing holiday. Fabulous place.
