ours was by not taking notice of the bad reviews. As a birthday treat my partner and i booked (all inclusive) a reasonably priced break to this hotel, knowing full well it would be in the quiet season, but to be dumped in the Prima life, sandwiched between two derelict and abandoned wrecked hotels was a shock and disappointment to say the least. With only twelve guests there (only two of which were English,English guests,as we were told,do not usually get placed here) you can imagine just how boring this place was,no entertainment, vile cold disgusting food(curry for breakfast???),the same stale cakes brought out meal after meal, dark dingy bar and if you were very lucky someone was there to serve you, very tired exterior/interior and pool area, run down indoor pool and games room, only two tacky run down shops outside the hotel and one on the complex, constant badgering to have a massage/spa/quad bike/sauna,,,just leave the guests alone, let them decide!!!!.On my birthday the four of us decided to have a meal in the on site "posh" restaurant, wow what a joke, poor service, wrong food served, food missed of the order, corked wine, food on the menu not available and rude staff with no manners,,,,we left and went just up the road to the only other place to eat,the Safari,a pleasant little restaurant next to one of the shops. The rooms have seen better days,,probably in the early 90s!!! all in all a massive let down. Having been to tunisia three times in the past we know how nice the country really is,Prima life lets the whole tunisian experience and country down, what a shame!!,,,,If you are English,no matter how reasonably priced the holiday may seem, please please think twice before booking here...we wish we had.
