Went for a family vacation with my family.
Beach: sand is ok, quite dirty, Tunisia overall has problems with garbage clean-up.. Water was awesome, bathtub temperature, pretty calm, not to deep. Not enough beach chairs for even 1/4 of visitors.. We were not the ones to enjoy waking up at 6 am, running to put out towels like the rest of people (hate that type of people). You cam to the beach at any time of the day and tada! all of the chairs have towels on.. without people though! Anyways, second day and until the rest of our 7 days stay we went to the public beach next to hotel's, paid one dinar per umbrella and lay down on sand without chairs. In the end we stopped paying since the proclaimed owner of the beach would get very friendly with us (he actually did not leave for hours sometimes..)
Food/Bar: quite bad. very bad indeed. Half an hour line ups to get a glass (2 max) of water. Want more than a glass, well stand at the bar and drink. No fridge in your room. Thirsty after dinner time then go to the store to buy water or die out of thirst. We like many other people bought a couple of bottles of water and started refiling them at the cafeteria during breakfast or lunch time. How pissed off was the staff! I mean just don`t call it all inclusive.. or at least expect people to need water in +40 and up. Food repetitive, fish disgusting. Some meat was ok. All one could eat for breakfast was hard boiled eggs and buns. Same thing every day.
Hotel: old but not the worse.. Staff ok, depending on the shift. The cleaning ladies were very nice, so were most of the cooks and servers.
Well overall, as many noticed, this is not an all inclusive hotel. Good experience for us to see that part of the world. Do not go to Tunisia in the summer time, way too hot!
