We found quite a few hair in our bed, we waited 1.30 hours to get new sheets that we had to change ourselves. Well maybe we were not lucky with the persons at reception but this made us feel bad for our stay.

it is a excellent hotel, the room is well maintained with comfortable. The meal was good

Where to start?
The Barcelo Carthage looked like a building site as we approached it from the road & felt like a building site once checked-in...for 4 days.
While the lobby felt authentic and had a rustic North African feel, once you took the dark, cold corridors in search of your room, things went downhill; dubious cleanliness, no views & that was only the beginning.
The gym was a construction zone & I was ejected unceremoniously on Day 2 while trying to get 30 minutes on the treadmill...dust and dirt everywhere. The pool was a petri dish & the restaurant "buffet" was laughable. Neither olive oil nor vinegar for a simple salad dressing. The bar...without a doubt one of the worst-stocked I've ever laid eyes on. Internet...sure, if you were within 20 yards of the hotel lobby.
Don't kid yourself; a Bertolucci "Sheltering Sky" this is not!
Do yourself a favour & get locked-up in jail while in Tunisia, both the food & the personnel will surely be better.

We were on a tour and stayed in the hotel two nights. It is a lovely hotel, in a beautiful setting. Has a wonderful pool area with many place to relax both by the pool and on a deck. The beach area with also beautiful. Would definitely stay again.
