I was only here for one night and did not get to really enjoy this hotel but from the little I saw it was amazing. I had a room that looked out just the way the picture shows. At night they light the area up and it is beautiful early in the morning. I remember eating breakfast there and that it was good but nothing specific. I would love to go back and really be able to check this place out!

Really loved the hotel. Rooms are beautiful, restaurants are wonderful. Was there in Jan 2012, and it is clear that Tunis in general needs more tourists.
A few small issues: Elevator had a bad smell all week and I got stuck in it the day I was checking out. Service is amazing though. The spa is huge and lovely, but the gym is off the pool and very overheated and limited in equipment.
The beach is not a place to enjoy....a bit of trash, but not sure this is a place to hang in January anyway. Its likely to look different in the summer.

We had a wonderful experience at The Residence Tunis. They were extremely accommodating. The nicest hotel I have ever stayed in!!! Their golf course was amazing. The attention to detail was incredible. The lobby was gorgeous! The room was cleaned multiple times a day and the towels were changed out a couple times a day to make sure they were always fresh. A big fluffy robe and terry cloth slippers were supplied. The bath salts made my skin silky soft. The room was stocked with complimentary fresh fruit every day and water bottles. The breakfast was delicious-fresh fruit, made to order omelets, etc., etc. The staff everywhere you turned was very accommodating and kind. I could go on and on. The spa had many services, and the pool and sauna were also spotless with staff catering to your every need. I only wish it wasn't sooo far away because I want to visit them again!

Overall, very good. I enjoyed my stay which was for business. This is not really a business hotel, its about 20-25 min drive to the city, but a great retreat after the end of a business day, and a pleasant place to wake up and enjoy the scenery, and spa before the start of business. Staff are very courteous, and very helpful. Front desk would manage dinner reservations, and regular taxi service very efficiently. Hotel personnel in general very polite, helpful, and friendly (don’t seem to have expectations!!). view is great.
Rooms are spacious with a Tunisian touch, decorated window with shutters, a straw mattress next to the bed, Jasmine rolls on the pillow every evening. House keeping twice daily, news paper delivered early morning. The king bed is actually 2 queen beds, and not tightly integrated. Cleanliness is worth commending at that hotel. Had breakfast only at the hotel, variety is reasonable, and quality very good. From reviews, didn't want to take risks with dinners, so I had the front desk book a few restaurants outside 10 min drive, "Closerie" & "Golf" are great restaurants. I would recommend that hotel as a beautiful spot for a quiet family vacation, or honeymooners.
