From the moment we arrived we loved the hotel. We were welcomed with a cocktail and had our room upgraded. I also forgot an adaptor and they gave us one at reception for free to use for the week. The room was fantastic on top floor overlooking the main pool. Food and drinks were all excellent a good varierty every day and the freshly made omelletes every morning were a real treat. Beware if you ask for a vodka and coke etc you will have two thirds alcohol so make sure you say just a little. We went to the beach straight away which was lovely and the camel ride. The people there will give you a price and we managed to more than halve it every time. It's definitely a place to go to haggle and grab some real bargains. The shish bar in the hotel was nice but if you go to a bar outside the hotel you get more for your money. The medina trip through Thomas Cook was really worthwhile although the Carthage tour was a bit disappointing as the Museum was partly closed and it was meant to be a full day trip and we were back in the resort at 2pm. The entertainment staff at the hotel were really nice and had us doing activities throughout the week. The indoor pool was lovely with heated sea water the only downside was that it's only open 12-3 but we were in there until almost 4 one day and had it to ourselves. On the whole this was a fantastic hotel just a short stroll to the beach and great value as we only paid £220 each for the week all inclusive through Thomas Cook. We will definitely go be going back in the summer.
