“Deciving hotel, service and hospitality very poor!”

Hotel in general:
The hotel is not as good as it used to be. Paintings are falling of the wall.
You can see that they have no more money to keep the hotel working, everything is either broken or in bad shape. In some area it is even dangerous to walk through the corridors...
In europe, this would never be allowed by the ministry of tourism.
Service:
the worst part of our experience was the service and the hospitality, which, let's be frank, was unexistant.
Receptionists and even the General Director are SEXIST and really unfriendly. I would even say ARROGANT and INSULTING!!!! This is unacceptable!
I had never been treated like this in any hotel before. It's such a shame for the tunisian tourism wich will be always considered as cheap tourism if even General director treat their clients this way!
This hotel doesn't deserve any positive comments. Even worst, I don't understand how it can still be running.
Hotels are supposed to be part of "hospitality and service" and apparently the Nahrawess teem and management bord is not aware of what hospitality means..
I do not recommend this hotel to anyone anymore!

“Not my cup of tea or coffee for that ! English? read this”

I travelled with 2 females friends. It was our first time in Tunisia and I can say with some certainty our last. We arrived at our hotel about 12.30 am, tired, thirsty and hungry after travelling all day. The reception staff were not very helpful or welcoming. They informed us that we would have to wait till the morning to get a drink or a snack. The room was small and the mini bar empty. We could not even purchase a a bottle of water.
The next morning we had coffee delivered to our room, which we was charged for. We thought all inclusive, meant all inclusive. Breakfast was dissapointing too. Our rep from Jumbo tours did not arrive. We managed to move to a bigger, better room, which helped some what. We had no induction to the hotel till day three, when the manager actually sat us down and explained everything. The hotel itself was quite clean, some .of the staff more friendly and helpful than others. We were the only english in the hotel and the first english in 3 years. At times this felt quite isolating.
The animation team, especially Zo and Mahood the waiter were helpful and friendly, they made our stay bearable. The water aerobics and archery classes were fun and relaxing.
I would advise against any women travelling here, without a husband or partner! Although in the confines of the hotel it is safe, outside is another story. The men can be letchy and bothersome, they will not leave you alone and will not take no for an answer. My arms are bruised where they tried to pull me into their shop to purchase items. It was not a pleasant experience. Some taxi drivers like to touch you inappropriately and make sexual innuendo's. Do not travel alone it is not safe, always book you taxi through the hotel and ask the staff to make a note of the taxi no, also ask how much before you ride, they often overcharge!
I would not recommend this hotel or area for a girlie holiday or for a family with teenagers or small children. It would be more suitable for couples or honeymooners.
It is not an All inclusive Hotel as such, Its more like full board with refreshment within a restricted time limit. The food was ok, but the same thing most days.
No wi-fi in hotel.

Nice resort, excellent beaches. I was surprised with the quality of the spa "thalasso" and the use of sea water for treatments....Sooo many pools to lounge around and chill...

“Can't get any better for the price”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed 15 August 2010

Put in mind you are paying a fraction of the cost of a hotel in : Spain, Greece, South of Italy, morocco... Excellent Spa with dream prices. Beautiful Beach (or many sea water pools indoor and out), very safe, clean rooms, good mediterranean food, and an ok service.
Kids had fun in the beach and in early night shows. We relaxed on fine white sand after our daily spa treatments.
Will def. go back.

“Beautiful surrondings”
3 of 5 stars Reviewed 17 June 2010

We spent our easter holiday 2008 in Tunisia, Hammamet and stayed in this hotel.
Rooms ok but a little small. Service ok. food very good. Buffet breakfast with every thing I wanted even a pear marmelade that I never have tasted before and that was really good. Have not been able to find it any other place.
Nice evening buffet . A lot of food we never had tasted before and that is rather exiting I think. After this visit to Tunisia we now often eat couscos that we really enjoyed at Nahrawess. Another thing that I likes was the Brick. very nice.
This hotel has a big and great spa treatments and indoor swimmingpools. We had several treatments and it was nice and much cheaper than home.
I also tried out the indoor swimmingpool in the spa area. very nice.
Beautiful surroundings with trees and flowers. We did not try out the outdoor swimmingpools or the sea because it was in mars and the temperatures was not that hot . This hotel is placed a bit fare from the senter of hammamet and you need a car or a taxi to get into the senter of Hammamet. The staff on this hotel was nice and spesiallly when you tip them.
Be aware of that you are not allowed to take any bottles of water or any soda etc. from the outside and into the hotel area. You have to buy everything you want inside the hotel. But for the first time in my life I used everything in the minibar and that was not expensive so it dit not really matter.
During our stay in Tunisia we had the two days trip down to the sahara and the one day trip to sidi bon said and tunis. I would highly recomened to visit this country and not spend all your time on the beach if you visit in a time of the year that is not so hot.
tunisia is a very interesting country to see and I was so happy that we did this two trips during our stay.
