“Wonderful Tunisia!”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed 16 February 2011

We love this hotel! Our favourite is the BEACH! The beach is awsome!!!! Its so beautiful! I have been to alot of beaches all around the world, but this one is by far the most beautiful I have seen!

The staff is so friendly! Love Sammy and his animationteam!
And they have the best DJ in Hammamet! Dj Dheker :) He keeps the kids up all night to alot of niiiice songs! The staff is wonderful, always tries to make everyone feel that their right at home.

Close to a very nice nightclub, Latino, or Britch Bar. :) U can dance all night long!

Their lunchrestaurants are great! They have alof of different food, and our favourite is the crepes! Mmmmmm! Yummie!

The Parachute guys, the watersports guys are great! Very proffessional ;)!
And we love the nighly SHOWS and the bingo! The Animationteam works really hard! :) And we think they are the best!
We like the clubdances and the daily acitivites! :)

And also the pool is very nice! A biiiig pool, where you can lay and look at the ocean!

You will fall in love with Tunisia and Fourati just like we did! <3

“Friendly, big family, best beach, good fun!”
4 of 5 stars Reviewed 28 November 2010

This is a cheap hotel, we stayed in an old building, but the rooms were clean. How much time you wanna spend in the room anyway? The bird song in the evening by the balcony is priceless. The staff is friendly!!! The beach is perfect. Worth to see the sunrise ones. Pools are nice if you had enough sea water. Fun for famillies and for young adults. The evening entertainment is funny. We danced till the end of disco usally. The food is all right. I allways find something new to try. Tasty salads for T, and sweet pastrys for breakfast. Try harissa and you cannot live without it anymore. You can go out for lunch around the hotel if you fancy leave the beach. Good fun, for a reasonable price.

“Amazing value for money”

We have stayed at this Hotel on many occasions and have never been disappointed. Yes it may be old but that is part of it's charm. The grounds are beautifully kept and the riot of colours from the flowers and the trailing plants is always uplifting. As you stroll through the gardens you can see the amazing beach beyond. Once on the beach deckchairs are free but there is a small charge-1 dinar(50p) for a matress. You can also have a snack or a meal on the beach bar and the service is excellent. If you prefer there is also a beach barbeque with a wider menu both of which have been rebuilt this year and represent good value.
The rooms are traditional but clean and also this year the hot water system has been replaced so there is always plenty of hot water. The room attendant soon gets the message if you are a late riser and is always happy to come later for the rest of your stay.
The restaurant staff are happy to help and the food has improved a great deal and even if you are watching your weight there are good choices to be made(if you care!)
There are 3 bars to choose from depending on your mood. The Disco Bar has a show every night and with the animation team lead by Sammy who will lure you into doing the theme dance and with both traditional and more modern acts, snake charmer to the hilarious Travesty Show (transvetites to you and me) and tends to be the last to close and is more popular with the locals who love to show off their dancing skills and chat up lines.
Cafe Maure is the more traditional place where you can enjoy coffee, mint tea or whatever you fancy and have a go on the shisha (hubbly bubbly pipe) The Snack bar though is lovely. It has been refurbished this year and is 5 star-gorgeous furnishings where you can get everything to drink and Samir's cocktails and Mo's coffee are to die for.
The standard of the improvements made this year show this place is coming back to it's best.
AMAZING VALUE FOR MONEY AND GREAT PEOPLE

“Absolutely Brilliant”

We Have been going to the Fourati for eleven years now and would not dream of going anywhere other than the Fourati. There are still a lot of original features in this hotel which just adds to the character. It is extremly friendly the staff are all helpful and most of them speak very good english. The rooms are spacious and very clean. There is a full programme of activities available throughout the day, it is up to you whether or not you take part there is no pressure if you just want to sit by the pool and watch the world go by. The large pool is kept extremly clean and is cleaned out on a daily basis. Also the sun beds and mattresses are clean and maintained. We have been to the Fourati both with teenagers and very young children and they all thoroughly enjoyed it. A lot of hard work goes into making your stay a happy and relaxing one. I would rate this hotel 10/10. If you are looking for a reasonably priced holiday with great value for money then this is ideal. We have visited other hotels but once you get past the glossy newness there is no feeling or atmosphere. Whereas at the Fourati you will find helpful and freindly staff everywhere. There is also a great selection of night life in the bars in the hotel. I would highly recommend this hotel.
