“Don't Stay Here!”
1 of 5 stars Reviewed 13 February 2012

What a waste of my hard earned money.
I arrived at this hotel on sunday 12th february and was due to stay here 7 nights but after 10 minutes i sat down and cried at how awful it was.
at first appearance it just looked basic and suitable for just sleeping in...but upon further inspection i was horrified with what i found.
The Room:
the room itself was small, but had basic things such as - bed, mirror, built in wardrobe, television and a dressing table. The mirror was dirty and covered with some grimey smudges. the bed sheets had stains of god knows what on them, the floor was dirty and sticky and the walls were crawling with huge ants! urgh. There was no lock on the inside of the door and the patio door was locked from the outside. there was also no safety deposit box and one of the wardrobe doors was stuck shut. the drawers were broken, wonkey and missing handles. the phone didn't work.
The bathroom:
tiles were cracked and not looked after, the shower head hung at a funny angle and when i tried to adjust it i was worried it would fall off the wall!
the bath was dirty and had 'body' hairs everywhere in it and the plug hole was covered in hair too...the sink had cigarette ash or something in it and was generally dirty. the toilet...oh my god it was the most discusting thing.
the seat itself was covered in brown stains and the inside had never seen a cleaning product in it's life!
The rest of the hotel:
so upon my dissapointment with the room i decided i would head out to have a look around the hotel grounds....but as i opened the door to my room i was greeted with a Rat in the hallway and promptly shut my door!
the reception looked quite nice but the receptionist seemed more interested in his conversation with his friend than me checking in.the only lovley thing about the hotel was the courtyard - absolutely beautiful but it's such a shame it's hiding one of the most foul hotels i've ever seen!
i stayed exactly 3 hours, didn't unpack and left as soon as i was booked into another hotel down the road...no staff was even on the desk for about 20 minutes while i waited to complain and check out.
filthy, discusting, terrible and a waste of my money.

Room Tip: Don't Stay Here!!!!!

“Hell hole !”
1 of 5 stars Reviewed 5 February 2012

My daughter arrived at this hotel this afternoon. it's FILTHY!!!!!!!!!!!! rats running along the corridor, cigarette ash in the basin, filthy toilet, Giant ants climbing the wall, no lock on the room door, no safe, damp, dirty sheets, generally a tip. she promptly left the hotel, courtesy of a tunisian friend, and booked into the hotel Phenicia, an altogether superior hotel. Her tunisian friend told her the Fourati has a VERY BAD reputation among Tunisians, food poisoning, staff who only want tips, and for being generally awful...so BE WARNED..YOU do get what you pay for. and this place should be avoided at all costs.

Room Tip: Dont stay here!

i liked fourati hotel but it's more expensive for tunisian than other tourists and it has a kind of discrimination.in fact tunisian stay in rooms with low quality compared to other tourist rooms and in the restaurant they separate tunisian from other tourists and this is so stupid

“never again”

The worst vacation I have ever had! On the first day I had a food poisoning from the hotel restaurant and had problems until the end of my stay! My vacation was ruined and I was more tired when I got home than when I left. The rooms were horrible, towels had an awful smell, it was dirty everywhere. The only thing I enjoyed was the beach, but you could hardly ever get a mattress.
Therefore my suggestion is to avoid this hotel.

“Wonderful Tunisia!”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed 16 February 2011

We love this hotel! Our favourite is the BEACH! The beach is awsome!!!! Its so beautiful! I have been to alot of beaches all around the world, but this one is by far the most beautiful I have seen!

The staff is so friendly! Love Sammy and his animationteam!
And they have the best DJ in Hammamet! Dj Dheker :) He keeps the kids up all night to alot of niiiice songs! The staff is wonderful, always tries to make everyone feel that their right at home.

Close to a very nice nightclub, Latino, or Britch Bar. :) U can dance all night long!

Their lunchrestaurants are great! They have alof of different food, and our favourite is the crepes! Mmmmmm! Yummie!

The Parachute guys, the watersports guys are great! Very proffessional ;)!
And we love the nighly SHOWS and the bingo! The Animationteam works really hard! :) And we think they are the best!
We like the clubdances and the daily acitivites! :)

And also the pool is very nice! A biiiig pool, where you can lay and look at the ocean!

You will fall in love with Tunisia and Fourati just like we did! <3
