This is my sort of hotel, friendly relaxed staff, lovely food, not too many people, lots of space. Happy to find our room is huge with comfortable beds and lots of cupboard space and a wonderful view of the sea. The kids feel really comfortable here and race around like they own the place and nobody minds. The buffet is of very high quality. Shame the hairdresser didn't have anyone who could cut hair though. Tunisia is not for the 18-30s crowd, but for those who like to spend their holidays relaxing, hanging out with the kids and eating nice food and drinking great wine this is the place to come.

On half board, plenty of choice at dinner and breakfast. As this is
there off season hotel has plenty of space and is very quite.
Heaven if that's what you want.
Free Internet can be picked up in room. I'm on iPad and not to sure about hard connection with laptop.
Nice gardens and beach area.
Room large 42in plasma program's a little selection BBC World and eurosports in English. Nice shower room with bath if its your preference.

We have just returned from a very enjoyable break at the Oceana. The hotel is very well run by the director Mr Nuno Neves who took a personal interest in how we were enjoying our stay. His staff are very friendly, and nothing is too much trouble. Rooms very comfortable - haven't slept so well in a long time! The food was well prepared and varied, and the buffet was well presented. I can highly recommend this hotel.

Both my partner and I have visited Riu Palace Oceana on two occasions - Summer 2010 and Summer 2011. There has been a vast improvement during this time owing mainly in my opinion to the Director, Nuno Neves. The food and service has significantly improved (and judging from recent reviews) continues to improve since our last visit.

I was particularly impressed with the level of cleanliness. The rooms and hotel are extremely clean and real pride is taken by all cleaning staff. The beach is also kept very clean and the gardens are well tended to.
