“golf holiday party of 41January 2012”

After reading adverse comments about this hotel and as organiser of this party I was becoming concerned. My worries were completely unnecessary, from arriving at the hotel to leaving there were so few minor faults they are not worth mentioning. We were very late arriving due to delays in UK,but the first thing we were told was that the restaurant was being kept open but could we go there asap after we had been to our rooms. The process of our room allocation was the best we have ever had,and I've been organising these trips for over 20 years,(with always between 40 to 60 persons all over the Med area from Portugal to Turkey and all places between, many countries and different cultures). The welcome, the Staff,The Food, the whole ambience of the Hotel was value for money beyond our expectations. They even laid on a dinner in one of their speciality restaurants for our last night after me asking for a room to do our presentation in,the food, the service, the presentation was worthy of a five star restaurnt in the UK.THIS HOTEL I HIGHLY RECOMMEND

“Best Holiday Ever.”

Sol Azur Beach Hotel Is The Best Place Ever. Especially If Your Going As A Family. You Have Great Places To Visit Locally Such As Yasmine Hammamet. You Have An Outdoor Swimming Pool Also You Can Use The Indoor Swimming Pool At Either Sister Hotels (Bel Azur And Royal Azur). The Food I Thought Was Absolutely Perfect. Like A Buffet. Best Place Ever.

Room Tip: Suites Towards The End Of The Floor Tend To Be Larger And Have An Amazing View Of The Pool, Sea And...

“A Huge Disappointment ....Totally Unacceptable”

Our two week stay at the Sol Azur over Xmas and New Year was a living nightmare.

The hotel is a disgraceful state, falling apart, unclean, smelt of sewage and generally incompetent staff and management.

Food was served either cold or raw which lead to guests suffering from sickness and diarrhoea including ourselves.

I could go on and on but I won't because i am so sick and tired of thinking about the place .....
But if I can save you going through the same as we did...... email me and I'l tell you more
Just a few words of advice .......Don't Go There...... >>

“Sol Azur Tunisia”

We went to the Sol Azur on 28th Dec for 7 nights. We (my partner and I) were not disappointed with this hotel. We found the food to be very good and there was a microwave to heat food up if you thought it was tepid. I never used it and I am the most fussy eater I never fell short of something to eat. The hotel in parts could do with a little TLC but on the whole was very nice. We sat round the pool area or in the reception area where the staff were very helpful. They gave waiter service which was very nice. The rooms were cleaned every day and although towels were removed in the morning they were brought back by tea time so no hardship. If looking for a nice place to go for a relaxing holiday this is the place to go. There were the usual suspects who complained during our holiday but we never felt this was justified. We had a lovely gala dinner at new year where the drink flowed and everyone in our company seemed to enjoy the evening and met quite a few of the locals. There was entertainment on in the hotel every night which was better than I have experienced abroad to date. There is nothing to do outside the hotel unless you go to Hammemet Yasime which is about £5 in a taxi although the broucher did say there was a shuttle bus, I never saw this but then again never asked about it, happy to pay the £5. We had a room on the 4th floor with a view of the pool and sea and was a large room, no complaints. A holiday is what you make it and if you want to complain you will find something but I am just glad to get away from the usual huistle and bustle of home so make the most of it. Like I said earlier you will always get someone who will never be happy so dont listen to them. They want 5 star but dont want to pay for it. This holiday was worth every penny we spent. I slept the best I have in ages on their beds.
