My daughter and I are just back from a one-week stay in Anaïs (Zenith) and we had a wonderful time. Three beds in our spacious double room (one we used as sofa) with air conditioning (so one can close the windows to sleep through the train noise 1x per hour, starting at 6). We loved the "no view"-side of the hotel, because this was faced North and absolutely sunless, which is nice when temperatures are around 30 Celsius all day and you use your room mainly for sleeping. Clean swimmingpools, great food (besides the standard buffet, Tunesian specialties like Brik-à-l'oeuf are made individually), great service. It's a 3 minutes walk to the sea.
We went to Tunis (by taxi to Nabeul and from there by louage to the capital: total costs 11 dinars = 7 euros for 2 persons). We also took the bus to Nabeul: 0,45 dinar per person. We were there during Ramadan: public transport is less frequent than normally, and most cafés are closed at daytime.
And yes: one day the water was closed off for about an hour, for us this was just a sign that we're in Africa.
It's a nice place for people who want to relax in a warm and friendly atmosphere.
