This a must go. Having been to Tunisia before and being very unimpressed (5*s are definitely NOT 5*s in Tunisia!) I didn't have hight hopes for this trip but as this was the closest warmest destination for a March getaway we decided to settle on Hasdrabul.
I could not have been more impressed and I am pretty damned picky about everything! Aesthetics were lovely - the hotel is huge and communal areas are spacious and marbled - outdoor pools and beach are beautiful and clean and rooms are suites with huge King Size beds, seating areas and seperate toilets/bathrooms.
I'm also a massive food snob but had very very good meals here - breakfast was good, lunch was better, dinner was fantastic!! Good quality ingredients simply cooked - I would reccommend the Gourmet and Traditional Tunisian restaurant for meals.
The spa facilities were excellent, one of the widest ranges I have seen - they do everything from wraps to massages, beauty treatments and have a lovely tea place in the middle to relax and sip free tea. Dont feel you have to have a treatment though as the salt water pools, hammam and sauna are free and very good.
The area was on the VERY quiet side but this I think was due to the fact it was March - if your looking for a quiet, relaxing, luxury holiday with good food and an abundance of pampering - this place is for you.
