“Location right on the beach was wonderful”
4 of 5 stars Reviewed 16 January 2012

Location right on the beach was wonderful The staff were very friendly I really enjoyed the classes at the gym, Jane was a fabulous instructor, a great motivator and everyone seemed to enjoy the classes the indoor pool was a good length

The changing rooms at the gym were like a school or public baths changing room, very small and no facilities and rather smelly. Very poor considering the stars of the resort, not at all five star

“Correct place to stay in Djerba”

We spent a week at the end of September 2009 with my husband and son (5 yo) at Radisson Blue Djerba. I think it was a good choice and good money/quality value. We were looking for a peacful place without too much of animation and it was exactly the type of the hotel (animation practically inexisting in this hotel) The room that we got was correct, well decorated, bathroom and shower a bit old but working well and clean. The room was well equipted with all the necessary facilities and amenities. The meals of the hotel are ok but not more than that. The main restaurent has a large choice of meals but sometimes things looked a bit doubtful, but correct. The last evening we had a dinner at the local speciality restaurent and we got sick at night... some other guests of the hotel told us that they were sic all through the week... We paid a suppliment for a sea view but in fact is not worth of money at the sea view is not nice at all, so just a standard room would be all right. The biggest disappointment was the spa. I am quiet particular about the quality of the skin care, so after the first appointment I cancelled all the bookings as the quality was not up to my standards but other french women looked to be happy with it... The beach was quiet clean, not overcrouded. The decoration of the hotel is quiet nice. Upon the whole I've got a positive impression of this hotel

Room Tip: No interest to pay for a sea view as it is not nice

“THALASSO TOP”

We have just spent a 7 nights / 6 days Thalasso stay in this marvellous site . We were staying in a suite ( I havn' t seen the "regular room" ) absolutly fantastic . Premises , services and food in the 3 different restaurants are excellent . On the thalasso side , they are very serious compared to others sites where we have been before ( you have a complete medical visit with a doctor before starting any activity ). They have all the latest thalasso equipments , a 30 meters hot (33°) sea water pool , half covered that is very enjoyable . Nice white sand beach , a bit windy sometimes . If you have any request , the different Managers are very easy to meet and will really take care of your comments . Staff is really efficient in assisting you for anything .
Our stay was so delightful that we did'nt have the feeling to go out the hotel to visit sites .

Room Tip: The 7 suites are great with a very nice view on the sea and a very enjoyable terrace . Rooms on the...

“Very nice property, lacks in service areas, still a good choice”
3 of 5 stars Reviewed 16 October 2011

I really wanted to love this hotel but problems with service prevents me from giving it higher marks. Areas that lack are in the restaurants and service staff which do not go any more than necessary to assist you. Getting a taxi, checking in is a process, lobby bar you have to go up to the bar to ask for service when they see you sitting there and signaling for assistance. Other personnel such as the bellmen and room service are excellent so there is a gap depending ...
Concierge did not do his job and our Sahara day trip which he uphold us to private driver and guide (which was not a bad choice, just much more expensive but still affordable) did not communicate to this company what we were to do so there was a tremendous confusion and they commented about the concierge not doing his job. We tipped him handsomely so it is strange he did not communicate what we were to do that day except drive to the desert. Overall a fine property and beautiful location convenient to all you wish to do.

Room Tip: All should be good ... large property and wherever you are you will be close to something and far fr...
