The hotel has something of a 70s vibe to it, but has been recently refurbished to a high standard. Everything was impeccably clean and the staff were exceptionally friendly and helpful. The food was varied and of high quality, giving us opportunity to try lots of nice Tunisian dishes as well as confidently eat western salads and breakfasts without dodgy tummy worries.
We were in the minority as Brits, most guests are French or German, so it helped that I speak enough French to converse with the staff. We quite liked the break from the other British holiday makers. Unfortunately there was a lull period when we went so the hotel was not very full meaning the bars and restaurants lacked a little atmosphere.
Hotel was ideally located for kitesurfing with the club mistral centre only a short walk along the beach. The hotel's sports facilities were good but clearly underused so would have benefitted from being updated a little.
Overall very relaxing break, good value for money and only a short transfer from Djerba airport.
