Delightful small resort set in neat, charming & peaceful gardens. The staff were friendly and helpful from the moment we arrived (surprisingly, not always a given in Phuket in our experience, especailly in more upmarket establishments). The accommodation is neat and spotless, with bath robes, umbrellas, comfy pillows and a good size fridge for those staying a while. The pool is small but very pleasant and perfectly adequate for the size of the resort. Meals from room service of a very good standard - the green curry is very good. Excellent value for money and would definitely stay there again on a short visit to or from the airport. Would recommend to anyone not requiring a resort in acres of extravagantly laid out grounds and expensive in-house spa treatments. Easy walking distance to the lovely beach too.

We stayed at the hotel for 1 night in March 2011. At first, I booked at this hotel because it is very close to Phuket Airport. Also, it is close to Nai Yang beach.

When we arrived, I was surprised that the hotel room is very nice. It has 1 bedroom, a bathroom, living room and a balcony. It has all we needed, a refrigerator, aircons, a microwave and a sink. When compare to the price per night I think we had more than we expected.

Bed sheet was clean and blanket is good but the bed is hard. But we were all had a good sleep at this hotel.

The cons of this hotel is about the restaurant. The food price is high and there is 1 restaurant that is close to the hotel, The Thai@Siam. We had a dinner at this restaurant. It was expensive but good food for dinner. Next time I will walk to find other restaurants on the beach.

About Nai Yang beach, I like it most from all beaches in Phuket. The beach is wide and the atmosphere is very good, not crowded.

So, if you like to stay at Nai Yang and looking for a good deal hotel then you should stay here!

My Son and I were winding down our 10 day trip in Thailand and chose this hotel because it was close to the airport. We had an early flight the next day. I found the staff to be incredibly helpful. They even went so far as to tell me we were leaving too early as we were only going to Bangkok and that we could leave much later than planned. The morning we were checking out, they had organised for some sandwiches to go with us, which I thought was a nice touch.
The resort IS small. However, the attitude of the staff makes it a very nice place to stay once you are on your last leg of the journey.
Oh, the breakfast was also pretty good.

We stayed 10 days at Kasalong Phuket resort from Dec 28th, 07 to Jan 7th 2008. we are a couple with no kids.
The hotel is nice, rooms are big enough and the staff is adorable and very helpful.
Located in the North east part of the island (5 minutes south from the airport but without the inconvenience of the planes), the nearest beach is Nai Yang. This is a local beach with bars and restaurants directly in the sand. We went to Patong and really prefered the good and cool ambiance of Nai Yang beach.
We highly recommend Kasalong for his friendly staff, it was really as confortable as home.
