“Relaxed Honeymoon”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed 27 May 2012 NEW via mobile

We stayed here for 4 night on our honeymoon this month.

When we go our these kinda trips we usually book 2 hotels and stay at one little further away from the action and the other in amonst the action. This was our second hotel with out first one being b lay tong.

Where do I start... When we booked this hotel my wife left a little comment on the net booking site saying it our honeymoon.

When we arrived there was a lovely setup on our bed with love hearts made from towels wrapped up covered in rose petals. This was fantastic as we definitely wern't expecting anything.

We had the cabana room with private jaquzzi that spills over into the main pool. These rooms are located to the 4th floor which feels great as you kinda expect such a large pool to be on the bottom floor. The only negative we found which is nothing to us is that there is no sink in bathroom, they had it in the bedroom outside bathroom. Kinda weird but again nothing that would ruin a holiday.

Breakfast was fantastic besides the bacon. There had everything we needed for a great start to a day.

Although this hotel isn't near the beach it was joined to a major shopping centre where they had the best shops in Phuket for facials massages ect. It's also directly across the road from banglar rd. We stayed on the lake side which is apparently the best ones to stay at. You don't hear the noise from all the clubs at night.

There's also heaps of markets bout 5-10 min walk from hotel, left from hotel road, and beach is about a 15min walk.

They also have a large gym on the lakeside 4th floor which is massive.

We loved this hotel and will definitely be returning in future.

I would reccommend to anyone staying here to pay the little extra and get the cabana rooms. Can't beat them.

“Not bad Enough to be Rated a 3 but just Pushing it to be a 4!”
4 of 5 stars Reviewed 26 May 2012 NEW

We just returned from Phuket, and we spent our first 4 nights at the Millennium. This was our 4th trip to Phuket and I had decided to stay here as I could get a Cabana Room (poor access room) for pretty much the same price as a Studio Room in the Busakorn Wing of the Holiday Inn (we stayed in a pool access villa last year at the Holiday Inn - very very nice).

Upon arrival, we were not given a welcome drink or wet towel (just what we are used to). The staff in general were hot and cold, some were very friendly and smiley, while others struggled to greet us or smile. Our room was the Cabana Room, and I really was happy with the positioning of the pool access rooms here as it lead out into the main pool which allowed our other family members who were staying in a Deluxe Room to relax in our terrace and also utilise the pool facilities. Some of the pools in pool access rooms in other resorts lead out to a private pool that can only be utilised by the guests of that room, so family members are not allowed to use that pool (as was the case in the Busakorn Villa at the HI) so for this reason, I liked that we could all use our direct pool access. Unlike other resorts we have stayed in, the pool bar staff do not walk around and take drink orders off you, you need to physically walk up and order yourself and they will then deliver to you when it's ready. Friendliness here again a little hit and miss. The pool amenities and pool toilets were very well presented and maintained.

The room was rather spacious with a flat screen, comfortable bed etc. The bathroom amenities were okay, the glass shower screen had soap scum marks on it. The cleaning was always done much later in the afternoon, we found this to be a little slow, so if you went out to the beach, did some shopping etc and wanted to return for a shower, the towels were never replaced, nor the room made up until much later.

The location was good in terms of it's proximity to Jungceylong and Bangla Road, but a little bit of a walk to the OTOP markets and the beach.

Breakfasts were good, it had all you would expect of an International Breakfast spread. Some mornings it would take some time before a staff member would offer you 'tea' or 'coffee' and they did not like it if you helped yourself as i did the first morning there, as i waited and waited and assumed we must pour our own coffee! The milk was also heated and sometimes curdled so when you went to pour it, it looked like floaties everywhere.

Aesthetically, the lobby and the hotel is very well presented and we did enjoy our stay here. Would i stay again?? Yes possibly if i had to. What really would have been better was if the staff members were a little friendlier, for me it makes a big difference and what i'm used to, it is after all the Land of Smiles!

“Great Location !!!!!!!!!!!!”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed 26 May 2012 NEW via mobile

I recently stayed here for my honeymoon, when we arrived, we had arrived early, we were checked in straight away and taken to our room.
As we walked into our room they had made towels into swans into love hearts on our bed and had pedals scattered around it was so beautiful and sweet. The room was a cabana room, which is highly recommended as our private spa open up to the main pool. Drinks were fantasic from the pool bar and for the morning buffet it was a variety of food, which was great. Overall great location right in the action of shopping or if you want to check out the crazy Bangla rd, your right there.

Recently had a long vacation in this hotel. perfect location , right on bangla road , connected to patong's biggest mall Jungceylon, street shopping also nearby. Rooms were nice , modern and well maintained. Breakfast was also good.

Room Tip: go for super deluxe or cabana category

“Modern, clean and comfortable hotel - Great location!”
4 of 5 stars Reviewed 21 May 2012

We stayed at this hotel in May 2012. The rooms were clean and spacious with comfortable and clean beds. The bathroom was great - though the shower did not drain 100%. We stayed in the beach side wing and on the same floor as the stunning pool. The breakfast was also great - a wide selection of fresh food - both local and western. We needed to come back to Phuket a day early and chose to go back to this hotel.
The location is great - it is "attached" to the Junceylon Centre, a 2 minute walk from Bangla Road, and 10/15 minutes from the beach. Great location!

The staff were really helpful and each time we called to enquire about things like ferries or transfers, we were helped right away and when we booked, a voucher appeared under our door almost immediately.

When we booked to come back, our e-mails were also answered quickly and everything about our stay here was great.

The shower in the second room we stayed in drained perfectly so this was a once off in room 2410, and even with 3 beds our room was spacious and fantastic. Big enough for 3 girls and their bags and clothes to be everywhere!!

I will definitely go back to this hotel when I go back to Phuket!

Room Tip: Try and book on the same floor as the pool - really great to go for late night swims!
