I stayed at this hotel for ten days last October, i had travelled to Chiang Mai for the world Interhash, and then went down to Phuket to recover, the staff at the hotel were very attentive and most helpful with any problems, the only downside of my stay was the water in the shower was tepid at best, other friends who were staying at the same time said their water temperature was ok maybe my room was a one-off. I particularly like the fact that the room had a safe to keep passport and valuables safe when i was out. It was about a ten minute walk to Bangla road early in the evening but maybe longer at my pace coming home ! Having to say No/ Mai to all the tuk tuk drivers, also the t shirts sellers was about the only downside. The beach opposite the hotel wasnt too bad for swimming, but I preferred the small hotel pool, due to cleanliness of the water compared to the beach at that time of the year. The hotel arranged pick-up when I left and the fare to the airport was a reasonable B500.
