Hubby & I stayed for 3 nights in March 2006. As it was located on Patong Beach itself, there was direct access to the beach by going through the hotel. Hotel staff understood simple English and service was average. They were patient and helpful although they may not always understand what you want. You should stay here only if you are not particular about the airconditioner - it does not work most of the time - it is blowing out warm air like a fan. Do not stay on the 1st floor as the sewage system in the room stinks - they even installed a small fan-operated ventilator in the bedroom! We changed rooms on the 1st night as we could not bear the stench anymore!

Breakfast provided was simple - you had a choice of American, Continental or local (Thai) dishes. However, bearing in mind the cheap rates, this was not a buffet, the serving was based on per pax.

On the whole, we still enjoyed ourselves as the hotel was within walking distance to Blangla Road (the most happening road along Patong Beach), shopping was great, there were many restaurants at affordable prices (eg. Fish & Chips for 200 BHT). There was also a 7-11 diagonally opposite the hotel (in case you needed a mid-night snack).
