we went to blue marine to spend our honeymoon, sep 2010 , we stayed in building #8 , we were having a sea view room , the view was actually amazing , the room facilities was also nice , a modern room , which was ok , the cleanliness of the room was also ok , concerning the food , it's not as expected at all,we are just talking about the breakfast this is what we have tried there , the menu is very limited , no cheese al all to be presented in that buffet , rice and steamed vegetables are presented , which is wired for us to be on breakfast . the service is not that good , we have almost requested 3 times to have an additional pillow , in the restaurant, workers are not very friendly , when you request anything from them , if you are intending to relax , this might be the most appropriate place , the swimming pool is awesome but little small , just one thing more , you need to wait for the car to drive you to your room , as the hotel is almost above a hill , and there are lots of steps to climb by yourself , the bathtub is very nice as well, we recommend the hotel for honeymooners.

Firstly u gotta climb like a hundred steps to reach the Reception. Service ain't great… No running hot water.… Hot water supply only for 4hrs in morning and supposedly 3 hrs in evening. Two days of stay we never had hot water on time in evenings, had to make numerous calls to get hot water. Pathetic house keeping and poor response of service staff. Food is ok, nothing great. Only saving grace is the location and view from the rooms.

This is really shocking to read about people talking bad things about this hotel. This must be one of the best hotels in whole Thailand .... simply amazing .... we got the room on 7th floor and sea-view from the room was ultra special !!!

rooms were clean and neat ..... there was not much interaction with staff so no issues in that !!!

I visited this Hotel on Dec 10th 2011. The location, facility and room was awesome.
I stayed in Building no.9 Room no. 8502.

It was Royal Honeymoon Suite. Of course it was Royal.
Beautiful beach view from balcony, wonderful poll and lovely sunset view.
Nice breeze in night , It’s one of the best for honeymooners on Patong beach.

Location, In room Facility, Breakfast and Maintenance, in resort cab service, easy check in and check out.

Minus :
Service @ Restaurant, Language (not up to 4 * standards), ETA for any request (very late). TV, Lunch and Dinner.(Multi Cuisine)

I personally liked the location most. I had big time with restaurant service and had tough time with their language. (except front desk no one understand English)
