I spent a peaceful 2 weeks in K-Hotel over Christmas and New Year.
This is a gem of a spot hidden away almost in full view of the crazy night life of Bangla Road.
The place was fully booked in high season and I can see why.. A very welcoming cool green garden, shielding you from the heat and noise while you enjoy a beer (Warsteiner available!!) before dinner, and some of the best European food around with which to line your stomach before heading out to the nightlife a mere 100 metres away.
Also a short 10 minute walk from the beach and main shopping plaza.. What else do you want?
Staff are friendly and I heard some German being spoken by the locals working there.
Nice cool pool with shaded area to lie and relax, clean comfortable rooms and quite modern.
Free wifi and a number of laptops available near the bar for guest use.
I will be back.

I have always stayed at the K when traveling alone to Patong. The rooms are good and the staff always happy.

This time it didn't seem quite as I remember. The room was clean, but no tea or coffee facilities in the room. For over 3,000 BHT a night I had a very limited view of the pool. Mainly a tree.

The worst thing and why I'll try somewhere else next time, they don't supply sheets or blankets. All you get are two towels (for a double bed) to pull over you. They are too small and not comfortable. For what they charge I think I can do better next time. The problem is the K is perfectly situated for Bangla.

I reading here from a Poster, from 2010 (Wiener Schnitzel zu 640 ++ THB entspricht circa 18 Euro inkl.).
That is a completely wrong price! At that time Wiener Schnitzel was about 250.- Baht and in present it is 280 or 300.- Baht.
Right is the Restaurant is not cheap, but the Quality of the offered food is very good.
What I not like, is the overpricing of the Soft drinks, a bottle soda or coke 80.- Baht, that is over my acceptable limit!

Hotel, same other Posters mentioned, in Low Season you can find good deals, in the High Season I find it also a little Overpriced, but it is in the heart of Patong, a stone throw from Bangla Road and you do not need any kind of transportation to Nightlife, beach or shopping-Jungceylon Shopping Center over the road!
Even a better, less crowded beach, Surin, is as a guest of K-Hotel accessable without cost with Hotel shuttle service.
At Surin the K-Hotel has a Beach Club and Restaurant, part of the beach.
A day there and/or a dinner at night directly on the beach is a must. But can come with a hefty bill.

Over all, its a special place that K-Hotel and its premisses, with a good Management and Oversight of a Owner with special ideas and views.
I read also a complain of the small sharks in the small Aquarium, whatever reason, but in the Moment there are no sharks anymore visible.
But Moranes (Muraenen) and the small -NEMO- fish from the Movie classic.

I was looking around for a hotel and when I entered the hotel area we noticed baby black tip sharks kept in a very very small aquarium....This is very cruel for the beautiful creatures.... Any hotel/ restaurant that needs to keep sharks in a very small aquarium to impress its customers has no understanding of the environment.....
Please do not use this hotel. We found many decent hotels nearby
