We actually stayed here quite a while ago, so maybe there have been some upgrades.
:-) The facility is located at the south end of Patong Beach.
The staff was very friendly and helpful. Room we had came with a balcony overlooking the pool which was very clean. Beautiful sunset visible over the water on the Andaman Sea view side. Many international singles seemed to stay here at the time, so if traveling solo, you can always hook up with new friends. The room itself had very typical simple furnishings, i.e. king size bed, dresser, closet, and the air in the room was kind of damp and a little musty due to the location, but it was bearable and you can open the door to the balcony if you want. The bedding was clean and housekeeping did a good job when they came in to clean the room. The a/c worked very well. The bathroom was adequate, but it appeared that the water was actually salt water that was being used. (i.e. taste and feeling) Bottled water is available and there is a Seven Eleven right next door that is open 24 hours. We always carry our valuables with us when we travel, which isn't much, so there was nothing missing from what we left behind when exploring.
There is internet access down by the reception desk but I forget the price. Its affordable though, nothing crazy. There is a small restaurant down in the pool area so you can eat and drink on the premises. I bought this as a travel package so we had breakfast / meal coupons we used. You are also close enough to a lot of others places to eat, you just have to walk a bit, five or ten minutes. I liked being so close to the beach which was right across the street from the motel. (I consider this place more of a motel than a resort, fyi). There are also tours you can take that you can arrange at the motel or at kiosks nearby. We went to James Bond Island and the "Fantasea" Show which we both enjoyed.
I would stay here again if I had the chance, its not bad and its comfortable, but my wife prefers Baan Sukhothai on Bangla Road because she wasn't too happy with the salty shower water and she is not really a beach person. Something to think about if you want to stay here and have sensitive skin. Like I said, this was a while back and they may have made improvements by now.
