this hotel was central to everything,helpful smiling staff..the only drawback was the busy road that kept me up all night..request a room away from the road. Good selection of breakfast,lunch and dinner..lovely hairdressers and beauticians..the only thing i didnt appreciate was the cleaners using the same rags to wash the basins tables cutlery and floor etc..not hygenic at all, after housekeeping had left i took it up myself to do a proper clean. Overall staff did try their hardest to accomadate patrons

Stayed at this resort for 10 nights. Great shuttle service as the hotel is located in north patong which is awesome if you want to get away from all the hustle and bustle. The rooms were spacious, a decent sized balcony, a grande pool, a swim up to bar - what more could you ask for?

Spent 8 days at the resort in Jan 12. Overall a very reasonable place to stay apart form some issues which did spoil it a bit (but I guess you get what you pay for) We had organised a pool view room before we got there but when arrived had been allocatted a supposed "bigger & better" room, but overlooked the back lane. When we advised what we had ordered they apologised but hotel was fully booked and had to take that room for the night. The front desk were terrific and followed up the next morning.I found the staff very good but you had to make them aware what you needed or required. Little things that did annoy us were mainly at the bars or dining/restuarant room whereby nearly every outside table rocked and the staff were always behind in setting them up, the bar staff spent more time with paperwork than serving drinks (choice was very limited in beers & softdrink) The bus to Patong was very good running every half hour and there was local minimarts for extras in needed. The rooms were clean and comfortable. The location is great as you away from the hustle and bustle of Patong beach but easy to get to.

To be fair it was probably OK for the price. Our group of 10 (6 adults & 4 kids) stayed there for 13 nights in October.

Bad points - When we arrived the room smelt so mouldy that I found it hard to breath. Now I know that in such a humid climate it must be hard to control mould but the bathroom could definately have been cleaner. Actually the whole room could have been cleaner. It took about 3 days to get use to the smell. 90% of staff were I wouldn't say rude but definately uninterested, not the smiling faces I am use to when I travel. Mind you we did end up having a laugh because of the shuttle driver grunting at us all the time. We were charged for a broken glass on check out which I thought was a bit rough.

Good points - Restaurant had decent choice of food and food was OK. Shuttle into Patong town every half hour (grunt, grunt hee hee) which was really handy for those shopping trips. Pool area nice and clean with swim up bar.

I would like to add that I normally stay in 4 star places mainly because I hope to have cleaner accommodation but the rest of our group had already booked here. So in summing up if you can afford it stay somewhere else.
