The staff at this fabulous resort are the icing on the cake. We have just spent 12 days at Baan Yin Dee and each time we returned, day or night, there was someone with a welcoming smile. Nothing is too much trouble for these guys. The rooms are very clean and spacious, the beds very comfortable. The food is just fabulous, not to forget the Cocktail list. The Chef (Ta) is just fantastic and willing to please every gourmet taste. My first taste of Thailand was so very special because of where we stayed and I can't wait to return.

We spent our last night in Thailand at the Baan Yin Dee after having been in Surin Beach for over a week (10-15mins from Patong) and we absolutely LOVED everything about the Baan Yin Dee!

The Pool Access room we had was so large, as was the bathroom. We loved the extra space! (which was more than our Pool Suite at the last resort we'd stayed at).

The staff were so friendly and obliging, especially their personal drivers - they brought a smile to my face.

The pool was gorgeous and we lazed in it while looking out at the gorgeous view of Patong. If felt great to be so close and yet not feel caught up in the craziness of it.

We really wished we'd stayed longer!

(Oh and we stayed at the same time as a lovely group of people who'd been there for a wedding? Can I just say they were so lovely and brought such a warm atmosphere to an already excellent facility - thank you!)

Overlooking Patong beach is this fabulous boutique resort with fabulous, friendly staff. Nothing is too much trouble for them and they make you feel welcome the minute you walk up the stone steps to reception.

The rooms are spacious and well appointed. From my bed I could look out over the lap pool down to Patong Beach.

From here we could decide if we wanted to be part of the hustle and bustle of Patong or sit by the pool with a cocktail. The food was excellent and was available if you needed a snack or a full meal.

Even being up the hill the walk to Patong and back was an easy one or if you had had enough a taxi or tuk tuk costs between 200 - 250 b.

I would highly recommend staying at Baan Yin Dee.

We've just returned from 13 glorious days in Thailand. A huge part of this glory was our stay at Baan Yin Dee. Seriously, if you want to see the true Thailand stay here. The resort reflects Thailand. From the physical structure of the resort to the beautiful, kind Thai staff the culture was evident everywhere. Nothing was too much hassle for the staff and they were always happy and keen to assist Aussie tourists with their endless questions and organisational requests. Perfect for being 'out of the hype' of Patong Beach but close enough to access if you wish.
