“Best full english breakfast in phuket!!!”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed 1 December 2011 via mobile

We are staying in the BYD lofts and this is a great hotel, but we viewed one of the two bedroom apartments and Siam Palm offers better value for money.
The reason I'm putting a review on this hotel now is because of the breakfast.
It is proper quality. Double sausage, double bacon, double egg, mushrooms, tomato, baked beans, toast with a selection of jams, a mug of tea or coffee and a choice of juices for 300 baht. A little expensive for Thailand, but the sausages and bacon are from England and the beans are Heinz so it's worth it.
Also I have to say that our host, Charlie, was superb and made our morning a delight.

“great little residence a few steps from patong beach”
4 of 5 stars Reviewed 28 June 2011

i found myself in the siam palm residence during a few days trip at phuket, patong with no prior reservation after having checked out from the unfortunate hotel i had chosen through the internet. Altough i walked in the siam palm residence in urgent need for a hotel, the hotel manager willingly and without myself asking for it, applied a 30% discount to their published rates.
The room, a 50 sqm apartment, was cosy, spotlesly clean, tastefully decorated, divided in 2 parts, the bedroom,
a (small )bathroom and a small walk in garderobe and the living area, with a big sofa, an armchair, a dining table for 4 and a well sized kitchen. Also a very confortable balcony, overlooking the ( very small, jacuzzi like) pool, with enough space for 2 armchairs, a small table and a towel drying.
Said before, the apartment was very clean, while cleaning and towel replacement was daily basis.
The residence is located in a small street, a less than 8 minute walk from patong beach. Across, there is a wine bar, a restaurant serving breakfast and snacks, the BYD suites restaurant, massage shops, laudry shops etc... A nice little neighbour, with alsmost everything in hand.
The only adversity i can think of: the noise coming from the contsructions across the street as well from the renovations done to the next door hotel during this off season period.
I would definetely stay again at the siam palm residence during my next visit to patong.

“Pleasant stay”
4 of 5 stars Reviewed 23 January 2011

The Siam Palm Residence has recently been renovated into modern serviced apartments - in fact when I arrived they were still putting finishing touches on and I was the first to check in!

The apartments are in a good location in the Aroonsom Plaza at the northern end of Patong, quiet enough but close to the action if you want it. The Patong Food Park is just behind it for cheap and good meals at night plus The Sandwich Shoppe is only a few doors down for good coffee, sandwiches and breakfast.

I stayed in a one bedroom apartment at the front of the building. The apartments are modern, western style apartments with all the modern amenities. My apartment included a kitchen with full size refrigerator, stove, microwave plus cutlery, dishes, glasses/mugs and cookware. Both the combined living area/kitchen and bedroom had separate air conditioning and LCD television with plenty of satellite stations in a variety of languages. Wifi was included and was fast and reliable.

The bedroom was spacious but as with many Thai beds the mattress was very firm. Probably not helped by the fact that I was the first to sleep on it. The bathroom was an ensuite off the bedroom.

There was a bonus of a small pool out the back surrounded by chairs and umbrellas. A pleasant surprise since the web site said they didn't have one.

Breakfast isn't included as it's an apartment not a hotel but there's plenty of places nearby including the aforementioned Sandwich Shoppe.

Noise was a bit of an issue during the day due to the building work on the apartments next door but was limited to the middle of the day and wasn't for the full duration of my stay.

The staff and owners were friendly and accommodating, there were a few teething problems as you'd expect with a place that had just opened but they were always willing to help where they could.

“Dimitri says EXCELLENT”

The room i was stayin' was clean and so luxurious, the staff very kind, room service excellent! And that's only for 1000baht\night.
Those people really care about traveller and not about their money.I forgot some valuables when i left the hotel.I offered a reward to get them back. They said WE DO NOT ACCEPT REWARDS,JUST WANT YOU TO BE SATTISFIED!
And since i'm still travelling in Thailand, they gonna sent my stuff to my current address!

That kind of character my fellow travellers is so rare to find in Thailand!
And yet Siam Palm Hotel has it!!!

God bless you
