“Good accommodation in a great location”
4 of 5 stars Reviewed 15 January 2012

The hotel is situated in the centre of Ao Nang.this is the second time we have stayed at this hotel and this time went for a poolside villa, which are as the name suggests next to the pool.
The hotel is built within a jungle environment so has got a fair share of bugs and Mosquitos. The hotel needs a good trim back of all the bushes and trees and it felt very overgrown compared to last time.
Free wifi is good and the breakfast included is really good.
Would recommend this hotel, however make sure you take a good repellant!

“Jungle feeling next to over crowded over priced tourist hustle”
3 of 5 stars Reviewed 30 November 2011

Average rating is too low, good would be correct but does not exist, very good to high for this paradise occasionally disturbed by noisy music from a nearby source. Young receptionists friendly and helpful. Wifi at reception available against payment elsewhere no signal.
We had the second level family bungalow which is spacious but in many ways not fitted logically or inadequately for ex.: no suitcase racks, 2 desks/make-up tables but only one with a mirror, no hooks to hang something except in the only wardrobe, the shower curtain easily drops, no hand shower in the shower corner, no wifi signal except at reception
Breakfast buffet diverse but its thai food selection tasteless as in most thai eating places. Ao Nang I do not recommend although it offers many worthwhile excursions. Some reviewers suggest to dine elsewhere, I followed their advice but found best the food from street vendors though that is not really satisfactory for my standards. When hungry try fruit shakes you'll seldom regret it.

Room Tip: We had the second level family bungalow next to the pool. First level rooms I fear will be dark but...

“A jungle oasis on Ao Nang......”
4 of 5 stars Reviewed 25 November 2011

This hotel is set back off the main road in a landscaped plot which is like a jungle with walkways and privacy.

The bungalows are two levels, one room per level, some around the pool and others a little set back, but you don’t get overlooked at all because of the trees and plants surrounding everything.

The rooms are big with either a terrace or balcony, at least the ones round the pool, not sure about the others....

Big bathrooms, even though I’d like to have had some hotter water at times and a shower that was tall enough to stand in.
Not that there was much issue with it.

Good Breakfast but make sure you have insect replant, but that’s the same for most of Thailand...

“nice quiet setting - below average food”
4 of 5 stars Reviewed 15 November 2011

An oasis of calm and quiet just off of the Euro tourist hellhole of Ao Nang. Nice rooms and nice pool. You may want to eat elsewhere though.

“Beautiful hotel, gorgeous setting, amazing staff.”

Booked for 2 nights, ended up staying for 4. Such a beautiful and tranquil place to stay after escaping the madness of Patong Beach in Phuket. The rooms are a great size with huge modern bathrooms and big balconys with pretty garden outlooks. The staff were delightful and incredibly helpful and friendly. Location is great - just off the main street and 5-10mins walk to the beach and where longboats leave to neigbouring towns/islands such as Railay. Could not fault this hotel - incredibly good value.
