“Amazing Hotel”

Wora Bura is a relatively new boutique hotel, build about 5 years ago to commemorate the 100th anniversary of King Rama V's trip to Europe. He was the first Head of the country, who opened the doors of Thailand to the Western World. Very highly educated and intelligent person, he understood the importance of closer relations with the European Kingdoms. In 4 months he visited 13 European monarch countries and tried to get the best of their cultures and traditions and introduced them to Thailand.

This resort is build in a colonial style, but incorporating the old Thai architectural traditions. It is a nice mixture of modern and traditional styles - complimenting each other and not clashing. Staying there you have a feeling that you are in a mini Versailles (the landscaped gardens), or a museum (the lobby), but at the same time living the modern life - with a glass of cocktail in the pool bar, or walking alongside the endless beach of fine and clean, brown sugar- like sands. Everywhere in complex - the backyard and the gardens there are small, smiling, stone figurines, just making you to smile back to them.

The whole area is quiet, peaceful and very relaxing.

Love the place and the people there, making you feeling as their guest, not a customer.

“Lovely Hotel with great people”

After 3 days in Bangkok, it was a welcome relief to walk into the Wora Bura. The hotel staff were so helpful and the grounds and pool were absolutely lovely, it has a real old charm to the place and you can't help but to relax.

It was my birthday and the hotel sent me a birthday cake to the room which was such a nice thing to do and has never happened in any other hotel I've stayed at before.

Nothing seemed to be too much trouble for the staff.

Would definately like to come back and stay again.

“A delight for the senses!”

We found this place to have old world charm with its open lobby, hardwood floors in each room, and friendly staff at every turn. The breakfast buffet was a feast every morning! We ate on the veranda overlooking a stream filled with koi fish. The lunches were ok, though the lunch staff trainees didn't know how to handle some of our requests. In the early Feb time frame we were there, the high tides are during the daylight hours, which would not be good for small children. And no running on this part of the beach during the day. At low tide, there is a beautiful expansive beach...perfect for moonlight walks. The beds are beautifully made and turned down each night, though they have rather hard mattresses.
There is a night market in town with all the things you would expect. The Rotee is delicious. They do bargain a little, but not much.

“An oasis of luxury and calm in a bustling city”

Hua Hin is the Miami Beach of Thailand. The Wora Bura is the perfect place to escape the noise and traffic and just relax.

The room was perfect - large, stylish and comfortable.

The staff could not have been nicer, the usual Thai charm and gentleness, coupled with efficient service.

The restaurant was very flexible and served Thai food to Thia standards if requrested (in other words very spicy). The combination of good food and the sound fo waves breakinmg on the beach was perfect.
