Lovely quiet hotel outside town, If you prefer the hustle and bustle of a Thai town, then this is not the place for you but if you want to relax in plush surroundings, then is the spot. There is no real beach to speak of but the pool is fantastic. The rooms are beautiful - would pay extra for sea view. They also have pool villas but they did not look like they are worth paying the premium. The rooms in the main building are spacious.

We have been to The Haven resort in July for 4 days!
When we arrived we got a little bit lost because almost nobody in the city knows where The HAven resort is and most of the people even did not know it excisted. The hotel is very very close to the runway of the airport. You don't find any airbuses and boeings but the noise is not quiet or relaxing. The runway opens around 9am until 9pm and then there will be many little plains flying around this area!! The citycenter of Hua Hin is about 7 kilometers away so a little bit far.. But they offer a free shuttle at 2pm and 6pm but you have to find a cab back!

The hotel is beautifull and very clean and stylish! At the entrance the view is amazing and the staff was very friendly. There is a beautiful seaview and it is very quiet because there aren't any hotels or resorts nearby (not open yet)

We stayed in a standard room, which was beautifull but our view was not that good we were at the side and saw two big towers en we could see the runway of the airport. So we were a little bit disappointed en when we heard that a seaview room had the same price as a room in the Sofitel we were shocked.

The food is delicious in the restaurant there is big variety and eveything tasted very good! The staff is also very friendly but in the restaurant and in the bar they don't speak very good English, which makes it sometimes very difficult. The bar closes very early so after dinner in the center and a massage it isn't possible to have a drink in the hotel (it closes around 1000/1030pm)

The Spa is great, it is lovely and we enjoyed it very much, also not expensive! The facilities are great: free use of the minibar, free use of the internet, free dvd's to watch, very very good!

If you are looking for a quiet stay and wanna stay as much in the hotel this hotel is perfect with his private beach, beautiful pool and friendly staff!

This was a beautiful resort; it was stylish, elegant and had wonderful staff. The rooms were large and had great views over the pool and onto the beach. The hotel was very quiet during the week, admittedly it was low season but it seems the hotel is only marketed locally in Thailand, as there were very few tourists. Don't get me wrong, it was great to have the pool practically to yourself but it was perhaps too quiet in the evenings. During the weekend it was full of locals and their families having fun and enjoying themselves. The restaurant by the beach was great; plenty of choice, tasty food of a high quality and the chef often came out to check if it was to your satisfaction. The staff were very attentive and friendly and I can't speak more highly about them. All in all a wonderful break, in a beautiful setting. Perfect for honeymooners and couples looking for a romantic getaway. If I ever find myself back in Hua Hin, then without hesitation, this is where I would stay. Thank you Haven resort for a perfect 10 days.

We went to Haven to celebrate our 1st Wedding Anniversary. As we live in Bangkok, we wanted something quite close as we could only go for the weekend! We had read about the hotel in a magazine. It was a perfect escape, so quiet, stunning views right on the beach! The hotel is not near anything but for us this was perfect as there was no need to leave the hotel. The restaurant was on the beach and very reasonable for such a nice hotel. The food was lovely and the chef even came to our table to make personal recommendations. The pool is right on the beach - the beach is not particulary nice but we knew this was the case already in Hua Hin. The rooms were stunning - very nicely decorated and with is being our Anniversary the hotel has decorated it with rose petals and even gave us a cake! This hotel is perfect for those who want peace and quiet and to relax - we came home feeling very recharged and look forward to returning very soon!
