Florida hotel is a cheap budget hotel in the centre of hat yai city.
An idea stop over budget hotel for anyone coming back Malaysia or from doing a visa. I stopped here on my way back from sepang F1 grand Prix, the beds are very soft and comfortable, easy and quick to fall a sleep in them. The bathroom is slightly a out of date and well worn, but what more do want, your only paying 550baht per room, for a good nights sleep. I would rate it a 2 star hotel with a cafe and restaurant down. Good live music play in the evening.

It's crazy that this room cost 550 baht because it was actually a pretty nice hotel. The room was spacious and mostly clean (although there was some grime in the shower, but no big deal). The bed was comfortable and we slept well. It was pretty quiet - we were on the 7th floor. The hot water and air con worked well. You have to pay extra for wifi, but it's only 50baht for 2 hours, so again, no big deal. The staff didn't speak as much English as I would've liked, but overall I'd say this was a nice hotel to stay in.

Stayed 2 nights at the Florida Hotel Hat Yai after a day bus ride from Tanah Rata Malysia. Hotel rooms 3 1/2 star lobby dining area 4 star. Everything about this hotel rated high, the room had a view down the main street of Hat Yai where I could watch the motor cyclists carrying an array of items, dogs, children and boxes. not much to do in Hat Yai but spent a day walking around the town taking in the atmosphere of a non tourist Thailand town. Hotel had an excellent meal cheaper than the small restaurants in the main street. Located about 20 minutes walk from the out of the way bus station. The photograph was exactly as the hotel was.
